Hawaii I hope you get to smoke some of the maui waui if that is how it is spelt. Those lava grown plants is some of the most potent weed ever. You should take a day out and play strain hunter and get some Hawian genentics and auto it.

Wish I could....my brother-in-law and I are the only burners in the bunch....we won't be able to get away w/o someone getting suspicious Plus, going hunting for plants in Hawaii will likely get you shot.

By no means would I ever suggest looking for someones grow I just thought you might be able to pick up some old school genetics via seeds off of a local

AS to the photo friend...it depends...I get the feeling that his photo mentors will probably tell him autos are for newbs and they aren't the real deal and real growers grow photos....old party line. The key will be smoking the Dark Devil...He's a serious daily burner, so if the Dark Devil gets him high and keeps him high for a while, that'll be the tipping point.

The irony is imo photos are a lot easier because if something goes wrong you have plenty of time to figure it out, with an auto that clock is ticking so every decision you make has to start with that reality. In a couple of grows I'm going to do a couple photos because what I want to grow isn't available in an auto, the time will come I think when we won't be able to say that about any strain.

I hear ya on the "old party line".
The few photo growers I've shown my girls to have converted, or at least, now understand autos are something to be reckoned with.
Not the party cup plants they were in the 90's.

I have a feeling the Devil will be persuasive enough to convert the non-believers.
