New Grower Trapper's Scrimmage Grow (Semi-Micro)

I haven't had too much side leaking...the sides kinda built up as the middle got compressed...but they DO make you work, that's for sure....What I'm actually really anxious to find out (due to Great White mycos vs. synth nutes) is what the root mass looks like once she's harvested. When I could still lift her and look underneath, she had like 6 or 7 taproots poking out the bottom...I wanna unwrap that airpot at the end and see how extensive the root system got. Seems like that will tell me a lot about whether or not this particular set of choices (soil, amendments, nutrients, feed, etc) all worked together okay.

I burned the tips just the tiniest amount on the 1/4 tsp. of Beastie Bloomz. I'm going to feed only Big Bloom, The tiniest amount of no N Ca/Mg+ and a shot of molasses for the next two and then get back into the nutes.

I still wish I knew what indication I could expect to see if Nitrogen abundance has subsided....(if it's even the case to begin with, which could very well be the case)

I'm gonna hold off on pics for a couple days so it's more impressive :) They are still growing very nicely...I actually moved the light down instead of up to see if I could blast it a little harder with this little 90W

trapper,
Im in the same boat as u...
when each plant finishes,I wana take the airpots apart and wash the dirt off the roots and get a good look at what went on under the soil...like I said in a older post in my grow,i dnt know if its just because i am using tiny airpots,or if all airpots just make roots like this but,i have a root, half out of the ground, picture a hump back bend,no root tips or anything, just this crazy thick "little smaller then a pen" root right at the top of soil,lol..I try and cover it but after watering its always visible, just seeing a piece of root that big makes me wonder what goes on under there,lol...
I'll be sure to get bettys root system pics up after harvest so u can see what happens in a .3gallon airpot lmao!

cheese I just Harvested..

Look at the new leafage that is forming at the bud sites.
That's what you want to keep an eye on.

I had two lateral roots visible that were at the top and went all the way to the sides....my soil had compressed and left about 10-15% of the available volume of the pot empty. I bought more soil, mixed it up the same and topped off the pot so the roots wouldn't be exposed to light. But their presence where they were leads me to believe that the root system is extensive,,,at least I hope so. :)

I'm going to 1 gal airpots for grow number 2 to try and keep the size down a bit....I'm a little gun-shy after the Queen :)

I know right...wait ill u see how a Sativa Builds a Afghan Build and A indica All have different rooting Styles...

are you guys donuts? The yield off this plant was pitiful. If he'd put his other light in ther as well he would have nearly doubled his yield. Stop kissing ass.

Regardless of what the yield may have been, (and you know those roots are Swamp's not mine, right?) it's known as being polite or amiable, not kissing ass. If you're looking to throw stones at other's
houses...you're welcome to do so elsewhere. Please refrain from bringing 'tude to my journal.

Cheers!
