U seem pretty smart to me trapper u could do great with it all as long as you research like u did for this grow. But...If your having such great results on your first grow... Why change a single thing including media? Seems like u got the ff trio led and soil on point.

LOL! Well it's sort of like a new job...sometimes it feels better to be proficient at something rather than constantly feeling the imbalance of new learning. But "controlled" learning seems to be desirable too....

I may not change a single thing, but the things that draw me to partial coco are root expansion/root health, the "blank canvas" aspect (at least partially at 50/50 with mild soil) and controlled absorption/drainage aspect. If I have to flush with Sledgehammer, I figure I can deal with that....I just seems like one little thing that I can do to improve control and predictability w/o having to completely "re-learn" or replace inventory.

with pH problems due to watering errors, N abundance issues (over-watering and over-feeding), nute burn...I wouldn't say I have anything locked-in yet.... I've just been lucky with good beans, good advice and keeping it out of the ditch...

I'm curious to see which direction you go on your new lights, obviously you know my recommendation, but I suppose time will tell how strongly I can recommend it. Glad to hear your N issue is clearing up Trap hopefully it'll be easy going from here.

Yeah, I have some theories but nothing set in stone yet...It will be dependent on how much moolah I can scrape together after Hawaii.....

Can't discuss genetics until I get all the beans collected and the disclosure terms ironed out - they are "project-in progress-based" genetics but not really a test grow per say...just breeders kind enough to gift their gear...not locked-in retail beans. Sorry to be cagey, just trying to respect all parties involved It'll be seriously cool, I can tell you THAT!

I thought you meant bigger than the two closets planned....my bad Since I'm going from 1.5 plants to 6, I'll need to expand into the other closet and grow smaller plants...hence the 1 gallon airpots.

I didn't think you meant this grow I would just need a lot more space to grow monsters.
