Agree to an extent. Maybe I'mbut I feel like it also depends on the strain. Airpot or regular pot big 7 gal, some autos just wont get the needed roots in the 70 days to fill the container. Bigger the pot, bigger the trees like photos doesn't work with autos. Idk rant over but I'm loving the smaller containers.
I completely agree. Any auto in too big of a pot isn't going to dry out enough to keep her well-fed. And any attempt to feed her before she dries out seems to result in the dreaded "cringing wilt" we associate with overwatering. So putting the plants in a big pot as per the "bigger the pot, the bigger the plant" rule can definitely backfire.
I like the 2 gallon pots for most autos unless the strain has a rep for growing huge in soil. That said, if you are growing in Coco, you can grow a freaking monster in a 1 gallon pot.
