Hey Friends and Friendamies,

I have been looking at those pollen trays to use for my trimming. I thought that oh, I don't need that. My box lids work just fine. I can scoop all my trim to use for butter, etc so no problem.

WRONG!!!! DING DING DING!!!

I bought the Honey Bee Pollen Tray this weekend for about $35. I grabbed my sweet leaf trim from the last harvest and ran it all across the pollen tray. Took less than a 1/2 hour. I am sure I could have put more time into it and got quite a bit more.

So... I ended up with 1.8 grams of pure kief that I just may press into a hash ball. Or not. But man, oh man is it good!

I will for sure be using this baby when I do all my trimming from now on. Plus then you can go back and rub the trimmings to get off additional trichomes.

I'm telling ya, the flowers are awesome the pure kief is wonderland. Mix of Fantasm, Alien X Triangle and Toof Decay.

Did I say I really like this?

How do you run it across the pollen tray? Is there a screen? Do you freeze your trim? Sorry for all the Questions. I just got a pollen/kief box but haven't had a chance to try it out,

I'm curious too. I don't have a screen or anything; I'm doing smaller scale grows right now, figured it wouldn't be worth the effort.

Any pros or cons to using these (and how to use, as Margahooja asked)? Do you just run trim over it (like fan leaves and such)? Do you like, do your cutting/trimming over them or something as well?

I do love kief from grinders and such, would love to make sure I'm not wasting any of my lovely harvests now that I'm growing so much better bud than I used to just grind.

Yes, you would normally use these when trimming and collect the kief left in the bottom tray. Do a google and take a look.

But since I had already trimmed by bud, i had just a couple of oz of bud trimmings that I ran across the screen with my hand. I just ran it back and forth without applying much pressure to the screen. My trim was still moist to my surprise. I think it would probably produce more if the trim was 1. Frozen. 2. Dryer that what mine was. I bet I could freeze my trim after kiefing and and get some more. It seems pretty amazing how much great and I mean great stuff you loose. I used it in my Solo Vape with a bit if bud to keep it from coming up the glass stem. I'm still high but what the heck, I bet I can get higher.
