Indoor Triple Jack Auto Mashup

Howdy,

My second auto grow, did not keep my first journal up to date as the gods were against me and had to pull plants early. However I was impressed with Dinafems Critical Jack Auto.

This time round I am growing:

2x Dinafem Critical Jack Auto
1x Dready's Auto Jack
1x Paradise Auto Jack

4x 3.8L Smart Pots (Fabric Airpots)
10L Potting Soil
5L Coir
Worm Castings
Fish, Bone, Blood
Clay Pebbles
BioBizz Nutrients

150W HPS
50W T5

The plan is to (A) use colloidal silver on the Critical Jacks for fem pollen, (B) pollinate each of the other Jacks and (C) cross resulting seeds the next grow - so ending up with a 3 way cross. Hopefully getting a good mix of genetics but ideally keeping the speed of the CJs.

It seemed like a good idea when I was stoned anyway! :dance2:

You might just be better off growing them out the way they are. When I do a cross its from plants I have already grown and like certain things from one that I want to add to another. Example is I wanted to add a higher CBD value to pineapple expresses so I crossed them with durrty dragons.

With all crosses you have to work the offspring as working with femmed seeds can take a few back crossings to get consistent results. Its really hard to just cross 2 plants and get normal plant results so I just wanted to point these things out. Breeding plants in a labor of love and can often be disappointing in the F1 stage.

Now dont let all that get you down as you gotta start somewhere and you got some nice strains to mess with so if you are gonna jump in I will be following along to see how it goes.

I think you are gonna need more lights too if you want to do more than a few plants at once.

Small update. 17 days from seed.

Paradise AJ at front, Dreadys AJ to the left and Dinafem CJA at the back and on the right.




They're doing okay but think should have started grow feed earlier and might of been a bit heat stressed.

Anyone know if Colloidal Silver 10ppm is good enough for changing sex? (Plants not me)

Any one know if 10ppm Higher Nature CS would work?

The tinternet says 30ppm minimum, a thread on here worked with 20ppm.

Apparently for health use its about quality not quantity so I wondered if this would be true for sex changing?

3 Weeks

All these girls are coming along okay but I have seriously stunted their growth at some point cause they are all tiny! Not that bothered as I think I know where I went wrong and I am real tight for space anyway. Dont think I will LST.

Will start feeding bloom for the Dinafems and Dready.

Decided not to CS these plants and have popped another Paradise AJ and a Delicious Northern Lights Blue. Will put them in small pots at the back and do a pollen run on them, hopefully not affecting the others. Then next grow I will have some Jack Herer/White Widow and some Northern Lights/Blueberry genetics to play/faff around with.

Dreadys AJ - started showing pistils just after 2 weeks, more indica.


Paradise AJ - not flowering yet, looking most sativa like.

Hello AFN

6 Week Update

Got a new bulb by sunmaster dual spec 150W and think it's made a huge improvement.

However had issues with Paradise JH not flowering, so changed from 20/4 to 18/6 and she is flowering slowly - dont really want to do 12/12 for 1 plant although shes got quite big and sativa leaning so sticking with her ftm.



This is the little Dready JH which is a lollipop cola of smelly goodness.



And the best Dinafem Critical Jack, trying to get pollen from 2 lower branches.




I also have another CJ and PAJ thats 2 weeks and I have started CS treatment pre flower.

And a Delicious Northern Lights Blue which I will grow out and not fanny about with.

All in all things could be running smoother but I am learning for the next one

Around week 8

Swapped in my red spec hps today.




Incy Wincy Critical Jack - just a bud in height but smells incredibly sweet. Chopped early to make way for a Northern Lights Blue at 4 weeks.



A lower bud from the much bigger Critical Jack which still has 1-2 weeks to go, hopefully swell up further.



Group shot, Dreadys Jack front left, Dinafem CJ front right, Northern Lights Blue back right, and Paradise Auto Jack back left with 5-8 colas and another month plus left.

Hello everyone.


Paradise Seeds Auto Jack 65 days from seed. Another 30 days or so left on these as they seem to take about 45 days to begin flowering - anyone else grown these?





Delicious Seeds Northern Lights Blue around 45 something days





Hvae put the Dready and Dinafem Auto Jacks in a box last night for a few days of no light before chop - will post some b4 and after pics soon.

I have a tall pheno Dinafem Critical Jack thats been colloidal silvered and nuts are all over it so should be getting a lot of seeds.
