And believe me, I'm a cheapskate most of the time. But for me, this is vital to my grows and cheap insurance.
I know what you mean. I have the Anaheim Scientific P771 pH meter and it costs about $40 for a replacement head, but I always have one on the shelf. Mainly because you are right, if you get more than a year out of a head you are lucky. As soon as I use the replacement another is on order and back on the shelf just in case I should ever break it by dropping. Plus I always have a twenty pack of those damn batteries the CR2032s it doesn't use many, but the one fault of this model is that there is no auto off. I have been known to come back 24 hours after a pH test and find my meter still on measuring the pH of its storage solution. :smoking:Do the Bluelabs have a replacable probe? I spend $50 a year to replace mine annually whether it needs it or not. And its calibrated when I install the new probe. I've stopped re-checking, its never off!

also i think what MAY havde happened is that i was seeing some bad red/purple streaking on the stems of the tangies so i may have put in too much Astro-Flower(PK booster) in the res and it sent the coco all out of wack and dropped the pH to 5.2? after the flush yesterday the plants are at 5.6 and 5.4... honestly im tired of flushing and it doing nothing and may just let them go? i mean i ran 6 gallons throught each pot and nada..... i dont know man ughhhH!!!!!![]()
sometimes i can get it to correct itself andf continue growing but sometimes it seems with coco i can never flush it enough to get it to where it needs to be... guess ill just load them up on the Recharge and Mammoth P to try and helpUnfortunately, flushing to fix problems rarely does more than save the plant, if that. All you can do at this point to try to keep the ph under control and hope for the best. And its not like your not going to get any bud. Murphy never sleeps.........
ugh pop im devastated with this grow they were doing great friday then i came home sunday to a ugly tent. i sprayed them yesterday and this morning lets see what that does... is it possible to over foliar feed ?Looking good! I was going to say try a foliar feed. Wait a few days then give them another spray.
i actually have a big jar of recharge and was spraying that and calmag until the AN Revive came. i havent noticed any new pistil growth on any plants so im fearing the worst... they may get chopped and ran for BHOFoliars always do my girls justice, have ya tried out recharge if not I'm more then certain it will help ya girls out..
I run remo with ro water and haven't ph'd this round at all no probs as of yet
