Could the temp of the res water being too high cause these issues? As my res was sitting on 25c for a few days i think this is part of the problem.
High res temp + bad air pump = no oxygen at all. Don't give up to soon, I had exactly same issues in begin maybe even worse, but afterwards it become a monster of a plant. BTW I have a crap air-stone and actually it doesn't matter so much....

photos friend give us photos please.... how do your roots look.... if you cant get any calmag then go for epsom salts..... foliar feeding will have a quick effect.... dont forget once a leaf is damaged then it stays damaged you are looking for signs on new growth

Some really helpful advice!

I had just read about foliar feeding epsom salts. If i didn't have the cash for the cal/mag then that is the way i would have gone.

Have to say that i could not be happier with the roots i have. That rhizatronic is mad stuff, i used it in my last soil grow with some strawberry haze.

Right im wrapping up a fatty then i will grab my camera and get some shots up.

Inabit.

More Pics..

And some shots from today. I did my best to get some natural light shots but i am slightly restricted how far from the cupboard i can move due to air lines... I suck at photography too...

Just did a fresh res change to up the feed to 1.1ec ph set at 5.6-6.0 starting to settle at 5.8 :D

Have decided to wait another week before cracking a blueberry as i need to at least get another airpump and would like my cal/mag before i start

Anyone with LED experience please let me know if the cal/mag is used in the first mix with formulex and rhitz or is it best added later? It was when the second set of leaves came thru the first set started to look ill.

It doesn't matter much, just be in needed EC range. In dwc plants growing really fast and they need some cal/mag + for fast develepoment

I imagine bringing you ph down from 9 is going to take a lot of acid which means as the plant takes up water you are going to see huge fluctuation in ure ph this is not good If it was me I would be looking at a ro system also a bit of advice which I saw someone else say on this blog less is more nearly always if your plants are ill more often than not other chems added are not going to help it get better
also be careful with the rhizo this will raise the ph dramaticaly so much so If I make a mistake when phing my rez tank I use it as a ph up :) rarther than adding more water which then dilutes the nute concentration
the bigest mistake new growers are likely to make are in the area of ph you need to sort this out straight away as it will block nutrient uptake

also from the photos to me anyway for sure those are the signs of severe mg deficency(my opinion) which is unusual as the plants are still in the veg stage I suspect this is a ph issue rarther than a lack of at this stage
What height are you hanging your lights from and what is the draw of the unit

OTE=BustCase;197374]The water out of my tap is PH9 I keep it between 5.4-6.1PH when in the res with the nuits.

I am thinking that the Ec is a little high for one twin and spot on for the other as it has not changed from 0.9. I am sure she will grow out of it in time. I did set the Ec a little higher for 24 hours and this is most likely the cause of the leaf curl...

Here are some more pics (I think) If they are not working could you let me know what the best way to put them up is :) a
Cheers, B.

Call me impatient but i ended up buying epsom salt yesterday and gave them a foliar dose. The stuff is magic, just checked PH and EC levels and the EC dropped to 1.0 and the PH dropped from 5.8 to 5.6ph.

I set the PH of the foliar spray at 6.5 PH. Is this correct? Also how often should i spray?

Res temp sitting nicely at around 21c.

No photos today but the twins already seem happier.

Your thoughts appreciated.

My lights are at 18" for 48 hours, then 28" for 24 hours. I am doing this with the idea that it will help keep them short.. Not sure on the draw but from what i have seen on other peoples thread's from people using this light it is just over 300watt.

I was having PH issues to start mainly due to res temp issues. I understand now that Mag is available at PH 5.8 or less and Cal at 5.8 or over. At least this is what 3 hours reading last night has be to believe..

Any thoughts?
