My seedlings were germinated in rock wool and are about 1.5 inches tall. Can I move them to fiber pots with light soil now or wait until they are older?

You can move them but just be careful not to disturb the rock wool cubes.

Yeah that small be easy on them. Or you can wait a week when they have more roots to secure themselves. I like to wait till roots are coming out of cubes. Its up to you.

I think I starved my seedlings

I soaked my rockwool cubes and pH water overnight and then put the seeds in 2 inch net pots along with Hydroton. They germinated in two days and looked great. I gave them ro water and light. On the third day I found them lying down this morning and they looked horrible. That's when I figured out the big dummy had not giving them any food.

I transplanted them into light soil.I found that they had a fairly long taproot curled up underneath the rock wool cube. I put them back in the dome at 78 degree temperature and hope for the best but I don't think the outcome will be that great.

I don't feed mine for a few days anyway. Should pickup ok, don't write them off yet.

If there going to perk up you should see it within a couple hours under the dome.I've rushed them from the dome to under the lights a little too quick on occasion and had them wilt right over to the ground before.Threw them back in the dome and had them make a complete recovery. How close to the light did you have them?

May be other factor, but should not be starvation, I am pretty sure. The cotyledon should feed them for a good bit.
Let's see some pictures, that will allow the folks that know to see what's going on and help you out.
In the meantime positive vibes and double :karma Cloud::karma Cloud: for you!

I have 2 23 watt cfls about 6 inches away. It's been 7 hours from when I put them in soil. I don't have much hope for them.
