Ok..I have to ask.
I got a bigger tent because this plant was too close to the light and even with the new 6' 8" tent I think that the top two or three colas are still too close...I see signs of light stress on the leaves. (Although I'm not sure if it's just a left over from being in the smaller tent)

I'm starting on my 3rd week of flower and have 3 or 4 more weeks until harvest (for a 12 week total) and I was wondering if just lightly snapping the top tow or 3 colas to shorten them would be ok at this point or maybe just bending and tying down with string would be better?

CRAP!!!!
I was trying to bend over a stalk and tie it and creased / bent it over. I tried another one and did the same thing so I left it.

I guess for better or worse....super cropping it is.

Please tell me that I didn't ruin my two best colas at this point.

Should be okay @rpavich ......:headbang:..I supercrop all the time and you do lose an odd one...but mainly fine.

REPORT:
I just cannot believe it.
It's only been 7 hours and the branches that I bent over are now curving up to the light as if nothing happened!

The little plant that I tied down this morning almost looks like I never tied it down at all!

These plants are pretty resilient.

"Creasing" is effectively a bit like doing a "FIM", the important parts inside the stem still allow sap/nutrients to flow, so provided there's no "snap" (something I've done many a time being too heavy handed when bending plants) then, as you see yourself, she'll just keep on going and bend up to the light as if nothing happened.

For future reference, look at videos on YouTube or wherever on how to bend thin copper pipe by hand, using a thumb as a "guide block" and gently forming the bend in the stem in the same manner as you would do with, say, a brake line on an automobile, for the principles are the same regarding gentle, safe, bending without cracks or creases provided the stem is still flexible enough.

I've been lucky in that department thanks to experience gained in my previous work, others obviously don't have that experience, but the principles are EXACTLY the same with the golden rule being "bend radius being no less than 3 times stem diameter", and with practice you can put in S-bends, spirals and everything if you feel like being "artistic".

I love the look of supercropped buds. They finish like 1/4 moon shapes, triangles, and all sorts of interesting ways.

It looks like I might have to crease a few more...this thing just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I got a 36" x 36" 68" tent and she's getting close to the light again!

Do you think that I should just let it ride with a few colas being a bit taller or try and do more creasing? There are 4 more that are getting tall now.

(the light you see on the side is for the small seedlings, the light on the big plant is just out of the frame)
