I'm 31 days in on my first real grow. A couple failed attempts with bag seeds before outdoors. I tied the main colas over almost 90 degrees and tied a few other stems. I am letting them grow vertical now and just tucking leaves. So far these plants have done well. Tyrone, on the left, started a day later than white crack and was the runt until preflower and went right past white crack. Then white crack caught up again. I'm doing an organic grow with Mephisto super soil mix, I had a little nute burn at the beginning but it has corrected itself.
I'm using a roleadro 600 watt, I believe about 250 at the wall.

I do feel as though my plants are way too short and I've had people tel me bushy is better than lanky, but I feel like they're just too bushy.
I can't really find any definite answer on light distance, I know its trial and error mostly and it's not a common light. The other thing the light is 3000k and I've attached a spectrum analysis from the manufacturer. Could it possibly be too much blue rather than light distance that is keeping the plant so short?
I started it at 30" from seedling, then dropped to 24, 18, and then 12. Then some people said that's way to close so I've moved it back to 24".
Just really having a hell of a time determine distance.

Also for more info.
Soil
1 part compost
1 part EWC
1 part peat moss
1 part perlite
10 TBSP bottom half of container of Mephistos super soil
9 worms per pot

First watering 6.5ph distilled water with sea salt
Second water, molasses, seaweed, sea salt
Third water distilled with sea salt
Fourth water distilled water, sea salt, molasses, seaweed, fish emulsion, and potassium silicate
Somewhat random foliage feedings of silica and seaweed

I have top dressed the soil twice, both times with alfalfa meal and EWC then added a layer of leaves.

Why sea salt? That might be your problem.

3000k is a red/warm spectrum so it won't be too much blue.

Well that at least gives me hope that it's user error and not the light and maybe I can correct this next grow, if it needs to be corrected? I've had some people say you want a plant as short and bushy as possible. Others say tall. I guess I will see how the end product is and go from there!

I use RO distilled water and since it's stripped of all its minerals I add about 1/8 tsp sea salt to reintroduce some trace minerals back into the water.

Your nutes should have all the minerals you need, never heard of anyone using sea salt b4.

I'm not using nutes so much. Going for a no till living soil. I'm sure what I do feed the soil has some micro nutrients. I had just read in a couple places not to use straight distilled water and add some salt. Thanks for the input :)

Quick update, white crack is growing about 1/2" per day and Tyrone has grown maybe 1" in the last week at 7" tall day 40. Tyrone is budding faster.
The one in the middle is a random bagbseed.
