12 inches with a 600 watt even in a cool tube is way too close! your getting light burn raise it to at least 18" I have a good hood with the glass below the light, and even at 18" I was getting light burn 22-26 inches see4m to work about the best

12 inches is pretty close for that watt HPS; good catch pop! A good ball park if you don't want to break out the measuring tape is to put the back of your hand (not your palm) facing up towards the light at the top of your plant. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for the plant. As an experiment, try testing with your hand like this, then raise the light up in increments of an inch or two. You'll soon feel a huge difference in temperature.

You can experiment with your light height placement depending on how cool the temperatures are in your environment and grow space to find the right placement (and your plants will react accordingly to let you know if they like it or not.)

Heat stress can cause stunting as well.

ok thank you for all For the soil im gonna Use coco - perlite now !!! Im gonna try another bach before planting y new seed fresh one ( Ogre fro joint doctor and Purpe gem ) im gonna make another batch of low ryder #2 with some coco !!!! hehehe I think its gonna help too

If you have any questions about coco grow there is an ENTIRE section dedicated to coco. Should go check it out. I'm sure you will find some great information there.

Keep up the good work though. Even a small plant can pack a punch in the end my friend.

ho noooooo I just found my mistake and error Omg im soo happy now its cost me a lot but I found it !!!!

never ever use Miracle grow !!!! lol I never used before I ha thinking I used it but naaa FAIL !!!!

normally I use this king of Soil : Schultz Professional Potting Soil Plus, 18L

Damn its a potting for seedling ... well Im happy now...its cost me 3 month but next time im gonna ost yo some Great stuff !!!!
