Indoor using grow nutes a few weeks into flower?

i forgot where i read this yesterday n iv been trying to find it today so i could post a link. this is the first time i heard of some one using veg nutes until like 5 or 6 weeks of the plants life when auto flowering plants would be well into their bloom cycle. so I'm wondering if anyone could shed some light on this or is this just some of the tons of misinformation on the internet?

While you may see pre flowers as early as 16 - 20 days, full flowering doesn't start until vertical growth stops, usually around week 5 or 6. So stay on veg nutes till then.
