Day 5 (From first true leaves on two plants)

Got Floraflex foliar before lights up.

Going on drip feed today:

Floraflex Veg A&B - 2g/gal ea
CalMag - 3ml/gal
Superthrive - 5drops/gal
HtH @ 3ppm.
Drip Clean

Two of the seedlings appear to be struggling somewhat, but I won't give up on them.

Day 9

These got foliar spray again this morning before lights on and have been on automated feed for about 3 days.

Feed schedule is as follows using 1gph drippers that I will swap for 2gph ones in a week depending on how they're responding:

Lights On - 1800 hrs
Feed 1 - 2000 hrs | 3 min (+1 @ Wk4)
Feed 2 - 2200 hrs | 2 min (+1 @ Wk4)
Feed 3 - 2400 hrs | 2 min (+1 @ Wk 4)
Feed 4 - 0200 hrs | 1min (+1 @ Wk 4)
Feed 5 - 0400 hrs | 1 min (+1 @ Wk 4)
Feed 6 - 0600 hrs | 1 min (+1 @ Wk 4)
Feed 7 - 0800 hrs | 2min (+1 @ Wk 4)
Feed 8 - 1000 hrs | 3 min (+1 @ Wk 4)
Lights out - 1200 Hrs

Current Feed -

Floraflex Veg Foliar (one day/wk 1hr before lights on)
Floraflex Veg A&B - 2g/gal
SuperThrive - 1g/5gal
CalMag - 3 ml/gal

The above two girls are doing fantastic and surprisingly have little stretch considering my lights are all at the top of the tent - I'll move them down if stretching begins to be a problem.

The other two seedlings that I thought I was going to lose are making an effort to survive! I will run these all the way through regardless - because science.

Also, made some progress on the room. Tent #3 going in, workbench and first shelf in place. Not nearly as claustrophobic as I thought it would be in here, lots of room to move around and work on plants on the workbench and whatnot.

So here's what happened today:

First some organization for Tent #3. That's 16ga plastic coated fencing cut and zip tied over the top of the frame. Hanging points? We got em.

No more awkward trying to find a way to plug the lights in and run five cords out of the tent.

Here is the Grassroots 3x3 Living Soil Bed. These are made to fit inside a 3x3 tray. Filled with 8 bags of Coast of Maine Stonington Blend (12 cu ft).

Found a better place to put the fans and filters, and will be doing the same for Tent #1 and Tent #2 when they aren't in active use.

The soil bed is sitting in a 3x3 tray filled with 4 cu ft of perlite, drenched up to an inch to two inches under the bottom of the bed. Ideally, this will wick upwards and keep the bed watered. We shall see!

I need to fabricate or cobble together a sight gauge for filling the bed so the water level doesn't get too high and actively soak the soil bed. Thinking maybe a 2" PVC cleanout connected to some 2" PVC pipe, with a either nylon hose or window screen wrapped around it to let water in but keep perlite out.

Day 18

Little ones are finally looking healthy. I'll up nutrients and feed a little tonight.

Four Barney's Farm Pineapple Express went into the new soil bed last night after a 36hr soak.

I prepped the bed with a tea and kashi starter. Waiting on groundcover seeds and some barley straw to ship from Build a Soil.

Day 1

56hrs post planting and they're off to the races. Incredible how fast they're going already. Don't mind the newspaper, introducing a couple hundred worms to their new home.
