Hi guys,

I have got a bit of a problem. My Expert AK47 90% Sativa from Expert Seeds popped from coco on 15th January and since then it has been growing to become a big bushy plant (80cm). Over 3 months have passed now and the plant is still in pre-flowering, the vertical growth has slowed down, but the buds are not forming. I have tried flushing, feeding flowering nutes, but nothing happened. It looks like the plant has grown like 5cm over the last month. I have another plant in the tent and it is only 1 month old, so switching to 12/12 cannot happen at this stage to force the flowering. I am using a 250w flowering CFL and 2x 11w veg as the light and the full range of Canna Coco products. Should I get rid of the plant? I am sorry, I cannot post any pictures, my camera is broken.

I am looking forward to your opinions.

Some sativa strains take a long time but yours are really slow for some reason. If they havme preflowers they are starting to flower but it will be another month or more before they will be finished.

If it's not gone into full flower by now it's very likely that it won't unless you cut your lights back to 12/12. You could put it outdoors and let it finish there, or cut the lights back and get a little less yield off your other plant. Given it's size and the time you've put into in it would be a shame to destroy it at this point.

That seed bank looks a little shady and their selection is very limited. Next grow I would suggest going with a more reputable seed bank with strains from known and trusted breeders.
