Hey guys just got my cob kit from cutter electronics.

Seems pretty good but there tutorial video is different to the kit I have. Have any of you guys put one of these together?

Seems simple and I think I know whats going on but i dont Seem to have the clips that circuit board clips into.

It looks like mine should just stick on and screw down to the heat sink , no clip thing? as the holes on the chip Match up with the pre drilled holes on the heat sink?

So yeh seems simple I'm probably just being paranoid but to much $$ to mess them up haha

Here is link to kit . I think they have just used the same photos and video for all the kits haha

Never put one of those together but it has the aluminum backing plate so i would put some thermal compound on and screw down evenly. Get one screw just touching the board then move to next. Snug then tighten each a little at a time.

Yeh neither have I and my thoughts to. It has the sticky pads I can use instead of a glue/compound

The hoes on the heat sink should correspond to the holes on the cob holder and the lens. there is 2 holes that go through to the other side that you put your wires through to connect to your driver and they should push into the cob holder on the front I think on the vero’s. Just make sure all wires are connected to right terminals and you should be alright did you get one driver for each cob or 1 to drive all 4?

Yeh thats pretty much what I've done. And yeh just one 400w driver it should run them all at 90w or just under. Although I'll only have two hooked up for first couple of weeks of veg
