Grow room is a closet end about 45 cm square, reflective mylar, 2 cfl bulbs one red spectrum one blue spectrum each is 200 watt equiv (40 watt actual draw), 12 liter wick fed self watering pots, growing in Hyponex commercial potting mix, miracle gro 30-15-15 for veg, miracle gro 15-30-15 for bloom, small fan running constantly. I'm actually amazed how well this set up has worked for me.

Both autoflowered, white widow at about 35 days, the northern lights at about 45 days. Both plants went a total of 120 days from emerging from soil to harvesting with about 5-10% amber trichs and all the rest milky. I discovered that my timer probably was stuck in the on position so I think these girls got lights on 24/7. May have been why they took sooo long to finish.

Harvested about 40 grams from the northern lights and 30 grams from the white widow. Both have a very strong sweet taste when vaped. Very strong, much better than any street weed available.

I really think these went much longer than what they normally should have. Probably the timer issue, but if the flowering is genetic determined, then light cycle really should not have made that much difference.

My nutrient probram was really pretty lax. After all the researching I was a little scared of giving them too much. I started at 1/2 strength of the 30-15-15 at 2 weeks, 3/4 strength 30-15-15 at week 5, 3/4 strengh 15-30-15 at week 8, full strength 15-30-15 at week 11, white widow received no more nutrients after week 11, and the northern lights got a full strength 15-30-15 at week 14 then no more nutrients. I saw no deficiency symptoms, but wonder if I could have incresed yield if I bump up the fert a little, or change nutrient brand or schedule. Suggestions/Recommendations ?? Both of my fertilizers do include micro nutrients, but are just general horticultural fertilizers.

I plan to add some florescent side lighting on my next grow of two Creme Caramel from Sweet Seeds. Just popped today. I understand this is a quicker, but smaller size strain. Would of course like to maximize yield, considering scrog for first time, wondering if this strain would be a good candidate.

This was my first autoflower grow, have had many photoperiod grows under my belt. I can't believe how fast and hardily they grow even with marginal lighting. Explosive growth blows my mind, that's why I wonder how much nutrient you could give these and still not burn.

That's about all, I guess. I will gladly accept any and all input as to my methods, equipment, nutrients, etc. for my cc grow. Thanks and happy growing.

Nice grow!
Do you have any pictures? How was the smoke?
You grew only using 40 watts throughout the whole grow?

If you're looking for nutrient suggestions, I'm using the Dutch Pro Autoflower nutrients, specifically designed for autos, so it removes a bunch of guess work, and my TD is doing pretty damn good so far. Had a couple cases of very slight nute burn, and that was due to the nutes in the soil, plus the nutes in the perlite, which was some crappy mg shit and I didn't know it contained nutes until after my bean had sprouted. It occurred before my girl even got her first feed, so I know it wasn't due to the Dutch Pro nutes. Nice micro gro! Wish u had pics!

If you can get away from miracle grow that would be your best bet. you have to realize you are smoking these plants, so what ever you put in is wat you going to get out, and MG may work im not saying it doesnt but its toxic i'd never even have MG in the same room with my Canna Plants. find another line of nutes maybe even a organic line like BIo-Bizz. :peace:

I agree with IDS. Give mg the boot. I've learned, from either being told directly by very experienced growers, or reading the journals of very experienced growers, that mg is absolutely not the route to go. The only reason I used mg perlite was because I ran into the store and grabbed the first bag of perlite I saw without reading the name. Only after my seed sprouted did I happen to realize I had mg perlite, which had additional nutes in it.

I don't have pics, I am paranoid about tags, etc and them turning into evidence. The Northern Lights harvest height was about 75 cm at harvest, and the White Widow was only 40 cm but solid bud. I had to keepn putting boxes and books under the White Widow to keep the distance to the light the same as the Northern Lights. Next grow is going to be 2 similar height plants. I used 2 40 watt cfls, so 80 watts total through the entire grow. I am going to add some side lighting for the next grow.

Thanks for the suggestion on the Dutch Pro Autoflower nutrients, I will check this out as it seems to adhere to my KISS methods of growing. I had the MG left over from my garden, so I just used it because I had it on hand at the time.

The Dutch Pro Auto nutes definitely keep it simple. I'm running the Take Root, Multi Total, Explode, Original Grow A&B, and the Original Bloom A&B
