New Grower Waira's 11-strain-in-the-membrane outdoor grow

You may want to start feeding them a little grow nutes. Since light warrior has no nutes at all... they may need food is why they are light in color. Just food for thought.

Ah just read more carefully... you did feed. Good man! Carry on then! Lmao!

Right you are Revnd.! On second look, I realized I overestimated what nutritional goods were in there,.... thanks mate! I'll up the fert' concentration accordingly, and with an eye looking forward to moving them sooner into their final pots,...

Sooner the better when transplanting to their final home brother. With autos ideally as soon as the leaves reach the ends of the cup or pot. Typically that indicates the roots have reached the bottom already. When I tier transplant I pre cut the bottoms off and slip it inside another un cut cup. So I can peek a bit to see if they are ahead of schedule. More food for thought.
That's the trade off from starting in ferted soil or soil less mixes. In ferted you can wait til they show sex. In soil less I start at day 7. Good show man!

Roger that Revnd.' (lol!) thanks for the head slap on that! They're showing quick improvement already; they've had a couple foliar Fe+ sprays as well, and color's looking more normal now. I did get some very fine dark surface only spotting on several leaves, but I think that might have been caused some regular water droplets lensing the sunlight and making a micro-burn....fish-eye on that as well,...if I get further necrosis and/or discoloring along margins, it's something else; these spots don't appear underneath, so that's why I think it's lensing,.... Full sun can bite back on occasion,... As for transplanting, I think I'll let them put out another set of leaves or so, then invert a couple out of the pots to scope out how the root mass looks, and take it from there...:smoke:

You got it Cap'n! Hell you work with plants for a living... Who am I to tell you! LMAO!! Hey my Wife wanted me to ask you if you ever heard of the Monkey Orchid? I'm sure you have... I haven't but I brought you up earlier and she was like "oh he's the Orchid Guy right? ask him..." :smokebuds:

Tip o' the hat back at you, good sir :smoke: <--(picture him with a classic British derby hat on + side chops) Hmm-hm-hmm, yes, bully, bully! Ahhh plants, mon amie',... their diversity and complexity go well underestimated by many, only the most fundamental biological principles are common to all; the bio-devil is always in the details, and in the particular species,.... to be a farmer, and that's exactly what we are, is to know these details and work with them; alas, it doesn't mean one will be good at growing some other plant/crop! Truly, there is no substitute for experience, actual doing, aye? :five: Now, don't laugh at this -(pshhh right), but I've actually smoked way more cactus/succulents than I have orchids! :face: :pimpmyride: :joint: LMAO! Believe me, when it comes to details-freakin'-details, species type orchids will hone that skill like no other! That's a whole PBS lecture series right there, and if you'd like me to burn your eyes out on text about this,.... send $19.95 to P.O.box 7485, Walla Walla , WA ...:roflcry: I don't want to go off topic here, but if you'd like to see some truly WTF orchid flower porn, I'm thinking of posting some on my visitor page (?).... Monkey, you say,...hmmm nothing rings a bell right away, but the problem with 'common' names is that they are often used for more than one particular orchid (like Spider Orchid; I can think of 4-5 different unrelated species that name is used for); can your lovely wife give more details about it, like where she heard it, or where it's from, looks like, etc? I'll google it too and check a few books,...(lol!) bastard! now you've got me curious 'cause you stumped me to the quick here! :D I'll get you for this!! LMAO! Anyway, I'll let you and the Miss-us know. I popped by your thread earlier, and ,......s-saw,... :yoinks: :hug:LOL! What'd I say? Shitfuckpiss-shitfuckpiss...! I'll ring in there shortly, but first, a snack and then a pause for, uhh, station identification, followed by a safety meeting.....

:smokeit: Here they are at 3 weeks now, and boy, are they starting to stack new leaflets one set right behind the other! New side shoots at the nodes are bustin' out all over as well...some are beginning to show first signs of the 'big stretch'; the 2 largest plants, both B. Lee's, were moved into their final pots (3gal) the other day, and several more will make the jump this week as needed. Strange as it sounds, fortunately there's no sign of sexing,...yet! Hopefully I'll get another couple-few nodes and side branches well on their way before the :booya:sex comes on! I'm very interested in comparing their size and age at flowering time with those of the same strain being raised indoors with extended light periods,... Right now, we've got about 13.5hrs daylight, which these hardies' are enjoying every photon of...Lot's of breezy days lately has caused them to stiffen up the main stems quite a bit, but no sign of wind burn or water balance stress. Boosting up the nute's, Superthrive, and even a few hits of molasses for the myco's and friends, has brought the color back to the ones that were looking pale-ish and kicked up the growth pace a notch.... I tell ya, if you're looking for a fantastic liquid Iron (+ several other metal chelates) supplement, try Green-All's product! Wow! right now Fe, baby! .... foliar spraying is the way to go for this,... soil pH is 7.0, so Fe uptake here is just okay, still, it got dosed too.... If you've read uit somewhere else, let me back it up here too: use a wetting agent when doing a foliar spray, and get under the leaves too.... within 2 days color was notably better, (one more spray)and at 5, like it never happened,...! So, fingers crossed for another week or two(?) of veg'ing, and for lottsa nice-a girls, eh?

Hey waira, Just pulled up a chair to follow your grow.
Your plants are looking great so far.

I will also be growing around 11 different strains outdoors, for my very first grow. Cannabis that is, been growing many other things for years.

I'm somewhat north of you, still below freezing temps at night, so I have started mine inside to put outdoors in 3 weeks.

:peace:
