Outdoor Waira's '18 Mixed Bag of Tricks Combo Grow

:smoking:...nope, that doesn't account for the auto's starting this routine at 5pm when sunset is nearly 8pm (at that time).... it's gotta be light cycle related,.. I thought it ight be a far red spectrum related thing when the OD girls were doing it, but again, that's out because of the reaction of the auto's... I shut down late afternoon/early eve' when the temps are milder... Also, when blooming starts, they stop doing it-

........ Alright, the last outdoor girl is done and drying! .... Outdoor Grapefruit finished very well, and bloody fast too... She wasn't blooming until end of Aug. (recall she and Sex Bud were 2 weeks younger), so that's about 6 weeks total,... Amazing for a strongly Sativa-dom. strain, and definitely what Female Seeds is angling for!
Hands down the yield champ too,... = All in all, a very solid strain, showing no problems or intolerances of note through the grow, even in that 7gal pot...very good mold resistance as well! Thank you @gennaro-fs and Female Seeds for coming aboard and offering AFN testers the Goods- ... I can't wait to run Skunk Special, Purple Maroc and straight C99!
Meantime, Sex Bud also finished up nicely too. She's dry enough to smoke a test nugg, and it's fine smoke even this raw still, all Sativa in buzz... Live aroma was like apricots/peach, dried it's taken on a Mango-like note- :drool:
I'll get dry porn taken of C+2.0, MoB, SexBud and 11 Roses soon, and talk them up some!

Reminds me, @Ronin the Bum's are doing great, different pheno's I think, but your Magic Eye is worth consulting- ... they definitely grew through veg' differently in structure, one squat, the other much more leggy... Oh! how did the Acapulco Golds turn out?

Blooming time was quick, real quick, yes. Beyond our expectations actually. I have to take note of this. I'll be waiting for your impressions on aromas and effect. I expect another sweet surprise.

Ps: noticed the unusual margin "teeth" pattern, like double-dentate, as you mentioned a few times. I find it interesting too! And not sure of this, but i've seen it also on other Outdoor Grapefruits on other forums or images. Nice, eh?

The first Bum Wine looks more Hubba dom in growth and the second looks to be a beast of its own.
Amazing how far more mature the first is compared to the second.
Both look great though. How are the smells so far?
Re Acapulco Gold: They’ve been composted unfortunately. Winter arrived early this year and they had barely entered flower mode by the time the snow arrived.
I still have beans and will run them again once space and time allow.
Indoor of course. That’ll allow me to get them going on 11/13 or 10/14 for faster maturation.
Colorado outdoor is a tough place for the landrace kids.

I'm floored this girl is among the best of her kin that you have seen, that must be quite a number,.... You are welcome to use my pics if you like as well, part of the deal as far as I'm concerned....
............. yes, I was very pleasantly surprised by her speed, particularly at the end. It's like she knew time was almost up, and she hiked up her skirt and power-boogied across the finish line! -- she sure fooled me on the expected finish time marked from a couple weeks prior to harvest,... toward the end, she started making some shorter foxtailing on some of the buds, stacking the bracts narrowly.... (calyxes-? side question there: I see nothing but conflicting nomenclature from "qualified' sources of this, what's your take?) ... I dialed the P way back the final 10 days, kept the K up though along with some extra Sulfate, carb's, and micronutes,.... I think this help speed her to finish, plus some nice day weather, less and less light and cool nights... I've not had a plant run this late and finish this nicely! Honestly, I thought she would have switched into bloom sooner, despite her younger age, but that wasn't the case No matter!
Ah, aroma,.... mild overall, not a stinker by any means,.. live she has mainly a sweet floral and headshop/incense, slight citrus back note.... currently, most of her is in that near-dry stage where the aroma hides for a bit, but some early cut is showing pretty much the same plus developing more spicy notes,.... full dry is a few days out yet, but the bud is gorgeous! Very sparkly, nice greens with purple highlights,... ---:drool:
Noted on the "double-teeth", showing on other ODGF too,... have you seen it on Easy Sativa or straight GF? ...it's a very cool little "extra" for this strain, agreed!

BW's, I'll take a better sniff shortly, last check was definitely funky, but still nebulous, not well defined, if that makes sense,... yeah, the first on is making strangely wadded(?) bud like the one Skyrone Stomper did; the second is a bit younger, less than a week though... In veg as you saw, entirely different structure... I'm just hoping for that names' sake aroma to show!
Alas, the AG's! I was looking forward to them almost as much as you were- ... I really want that banana/bubblegum pheno' again, but Barney's isn't known for their pheno' stability in general,.... make me double curious what yours, from a different source entirely, would have been!

Yes, she's been a speedy beast. Surely the magic combination of nutrients, good weather and shorter light has made the trick and speeded up the flowering even more. I've seen this also on a Critical Sour that i've grown outdoor this year. And that's a strain you MUST try next season. Really.
About the aroma: well, as we have said previously, i think you got a rarer pheno, leaning towards the Easy Sativa rather than Grapefruit.

Did some research on the double teeth patterned leaves: I've seen it on some plants of Grapefruit. I'll see if also on the Easy Sativa leaves have the same pattern.
