Old Reviews Wanting to step up my bubble game!

Currently running one in my reservoir for my tapwater and feed. I run another one in my bubble bucket.

Not sure if what i am using is good enough or if more would help. The bubble bucket is ~5gal and the reservoir is 5 gal

Your pump is moer important than airstone i think unless you already have a top end pump. Get something that can push at least 10L/min through each of your buckets/res. I have three setup at the mo running on a 60L/min pump. Bubbles are great!

what kind of pump are u using? i need something very silent if i got something. right now is use (2)7.5L/min in my buckets

just get the 1 inch or 2 inch stones from the hydro store

I have been using walmart pumps for 2 years now just use 1 60 gallon pump per bucket and try to keep your temperatures under 70f

I am thinking the only really silent ones are the hailea from what I read. I heard one of the ones recommended arcade hydro shop and the Guy said they are silent when you place a mousepad under it. He had a mousepad under his and he must need to use some qtips instead lol

This brand is the mercedes of air pumps http://www.kensfish.com/product26.html a little pricey but you can lay your head beside it and go to sleep. and if its more capacity than you can use right now it can run alot less than rated for no problems. I have one over 10 years old and its not uncommon to get 15 years continuos service from them.
