Live Stoner Chat Water disposal question?

Ok guys i have a question here about water...
I run DWC

I am not on city sewer i have my own septic tank.... i dont' know alot about septic's

I was wondering if its perfectly fine to drain all my water down my tub? Approx 60 gallons a week (on the high end)

Under the conclusion that water... will just go into the spetic tank then out into a leach bed.

I don't want to run the risk of filling up my septic tank with water... but my buddy just informed me that your typical toilet flush uses 8 gallons right there.....

I wouldn't worry about the amount, But I would wonder if it would kill the microbes in the tank that break down the solid waste...That could cause you to have to pump early... Do you have a yard? could you just run a hose out the window down to the ground and let it out on the lawn or what ever.

Yea i could use a window in the other room outside my grow, the window in the grow room as a ac unit in it. Good thinking auto.

What about putting that much water right next to my foundation of my home?

Is it concrete or cinder block? I would think as long as it's not eroding the dirt and making voids, even with cinder block you should be fine.

My house is all brick, its on a cinder block foundation i believe

im not too sure but i wouldnt feel right myself pumping all those nutes into the sea or where ever leach beach is, but if your using organic wouldnt be so bad but still brother gotta think of mother nature hey
do what autos saying and run it off on your lawn or somthing

I would try to get it out 5 or 10 feet away just to be sure ....

yeh deffo, cos the amount your pumping out maybe not straight away but eventually i would think cause structual probs

I wouldn't be concerned about putting your run off into your septic system. 60 gallons is about the equivalent of 3 loads of laundry. It's not going to overburden the system. The nutrient concentrations are very low and pretty insignificant when compared to the chemicals that are going into it from soaps, laundry detergents, cleaning solutions, etc. The biggest reason septic systems fail is that people don't have the solids pumped out often enough. The solids build up in the tank and eventually get out into the leeching field and clog it up. Just flush down two blocks of yeast once a month to feed the microbes and have the solids pumped out every 5 years or so and your system will last a life time.

Thanks muddy, i had it done about 2 years ago.. think it was around 300 dollars, not to bad. I will remember that yeast trick you just mentioned.
