Mephisto Genetics Waterfarm Mephistos - new testers - Fugue State, Forum Stomper, Orange Diesel, Strawberry Nuggets

Hey @Margahooja the reflectors work great and I'd say as advertised and they come with the lights (Timber) so it isn't any extra cost

I use them until the ladies get too tall and I feel like I need the light more spread around and less focused at which point I take them off

have a great weekend AFN !! :toke:

Day 50
Waterfarm girls are all taking 900ppm now and fighting for any remaining space -- which let's face it I knew would happen so just rolling with it lol. Fugue State and Orange Diesel are hitting it a little harder around 1000ppm.
Breaks down something like this:
CAliMAgic - about 100ppm
Terpinator - about 100ppm
Liquid KoolBloom - about 150ppm
FloraNova Bloom - to final ppm (900-1000ppm)
I am adding a small amount of pH DOWN as well to get that nice YELLOW with the GH indicator... Seems like Terpinator combined with ppms over 900 are calling for this small adjustment.
Fugue State and Orange Diesel are firmly into flowering and the Forum Stomper and Strawberry Nuggets are right behind. Strawberry Nuggets I'm sure hates me and has most definitely had her veg time extended thanks to my abuse...

[HASHTAG]#soilsisters[/HASHTAG] are moving along and really flowering now... pretty little girls and I am glad I kept them even though they are messing with my tent space haha
It has been a great little soil experiment for me and I can see the temptation to throw like 9 or 16 of them in there next time and ditch the waterfarms... but we'll hold off on that thought for now -- too many questions to answer yet !!

Cheers AFN !! :toke:
goodness!I can literally hear them all squeaking me-me-me-me-me-me-me!
What vital lifeloving beauties you've got yourself there - all of them! And yes undeniably, you are a true master of the waterfarm!
Thanks for all these lovely impressions! :bighug:

Day 56
1100 - 1200 ppm for all the ladies they have gotten very large and pushed the [HASHTAG]#soilsisters[/HASHTAG] out of the tent which inevitable :greenthumb:
Fugue State has been drinking a gallon a day for quite a while now, and Orange Diesel is nearing that consumption now. Forum Stomper is a little slower to get there and Strawberry Nuggets eats the least of all... maybe about half as fast as the Fugue State

haha!! good for you, that you could make another space for the three soily ones! Not that the other tent looks less full now!:crying:

You know, I had been thinking of the strawberry nuggets, seeing how differently yours were doing structurewise in soil and in the waterfarm, and how maybe they may need to be kept on low nutes as not to go stumbling over themselves like that...
your noting how she is drinking way less than the others, could that be a sign of that too, do you think?
Cheers!

WF,

Great looking grow and it's nice to see you are running soil with your water buckets. At the end will you detail the yield difference and more importantly the taste difference between soil and hydro?

Generally speaking and from my experience, hydro looks great but doesn't produce it's potential for taste which is 100% my top priority. I'm curious how yours will compare in the finish.

My experience tells me that even the soil that is used causes different flavor to come through. When I run Depth Charge the flavor is off the chain. Potency as well. I have run so many side x side tests to confirm this the owner should owe me free Depth Charge for life. LOL.

I recently experienced a Sour Orange Tangie that was grown in it with just water added. Just opening the jar caused the room to stink for an hour. It wasn't even vaped or smoked. It was truly amazing.

Looking good. Keep it up.

well what what I can say is the waterfarm SN consumes less than any of the other 3 new Artisanals, and I can also say that I stunted her along the way by taking too many large fans from the main stem.

I am mixing the ppms the same for all of the girls, which ppms are not bothering her, she is just drinking much slower than the others / requiring less topping off during the week. FS and OD are both taking a gallon per day, and the FORS has now nearly caught up to that level. The SN is taking about twice as long to go through a gallon. The FS got there weeks ago, and the OD was shortly behind that.

I'm feeding everyone around 1000 - 1100 ppm at the moment, and mixing nearly the same ppm for topping off FS and OD , somewhat less for FORS (which has some burns on her leaves now but no big deal and I dialed her ppm back accordingly) and SN.

I dunno but I would say nothing out of the realm of ordinary variances in nutrient requirements similar to that observed among different strains in the past.

the soil girls are all taking about the same amount of water... the soil FS takes a little more than the other two, but not much
