My girls was watered a week ago. The pots aren't light BUT the tops of the soil for a few inches is bone and I mean bone dry? I know the roots will travel to the bottom and drink the moisture there but worth giving a little water so the rest of the soil isn't rock hard?

Take it your growing outside in a similar climate to me :D I'm not sure if I'm going to go through the heartbreak again this year?

Lol growing indoors mate, I just ain't sure if I should give them some water, the soil is rock would but the very bottom of my pots is abit moist and the girls look fine but I'm wondering if they have grown much lol wondering if some water will do em good.

Easiest way for me to figure out when water is needed is either A) reading what the plants tell me or B) picking up the pot to feel its weight. If it is light odds are they need alil water. Hope this helps

Pots don't feel light and plants look alright I just don't think I see much growth. The soil for a good finger length is so dry that its almost like rock.

You think I should? I mean they don't look like they need it but soil that hard can't be good right? Wasnt going to water until run off just abit of water to soften the soil?

I don't think watering it a bit will hurt it, especially if the soil already isn't soaking wet.:smokebuds:
