My first indoor LED grow.

Please click the link bellow to my grow journal. Lots of high quality pictures for your diagnosis.

They seem like they are on track. 20 days old. While the stem is wonderful so far, I'm concerned with the rigidity of the side branches. They seem way to flexible and bendy from my experience. What do you guys think? Should they still be like this.

I see heat stress............ Not a bad case try moving your lights up to 20 inches or so?
I'm not positive but I think you want the PH down around 5.5

:toke: Hey Smooth'-- You're in coco? Are you using a silica supplement, regularly? -(ditto for Ca-Mg),... It can help with such issues, also, some strains/plants are not as "hard-boned" as others,... and as you know, young fast growing tissues can be pretty flexible until the support tissues form and harden up,... :coffee: .... I see what GA6 mentioned too, with the up-turned teeth on the uppers,...:greenthumb:-otherwise she's a nice healthy looking plant, mate! :d5: oh-- yeah, coco likes it mid-to-upper 5's, for best nute' availability,...

Hey Waira, I do not use a silica supplement but I do use 5ml/g of calmag+ -----5ml canna A&B -----ph 5.8 ----at 570 ppm -----room temp 76
so its a good idea to both raise the lights and lower the ph. View media item 7761
question: what should the run-off read?

I had them in a 2x4 hydro tent and it was just way to hot, bought an a/c and sealed a 6x6x8 area off.

... Si is a many wonderful thing, mate! ---check this out- ( https://www.autoflower.org/threads/link-to-silica-benefits.47356/ )-- and get you some- ...5.8 is just fine for coco, though, how are you testing this, as run-off? If so, straight run-off isn't a good measure to actual in-medium pH, lots of factors that can skew it from the actual pH,... best bet is an in-medium measurement from a good pH probe, like the Accurate 8,... otherwise, the r-o method is typically full of potential measurement errors... here's a link to an improved methodology and calculation- (https://www.autoflower.org/threads/...-testing-and-ph-estimation.41733/#post-928975 )

Do you give your plants extra Silicium?
General Hydroponics Urtica is an excellent supplement. It is the only supplement I can say I can see work. From seedlings to adult plants, all of them have developed strong stems and branches after I started Urtica twice a week. I strongly recommend it.

Wow I had no idea Si was so important. I was a little leery of testing runoff. After reading your right probing is the way to go.

Just ordered a bottle of GH Urtica. Thank you for your recommendation. I truly appreciate what you guys do on here.

Your plants will love it. Just watch what happens to the stems after 2-3 weeks.

I use 30 ml/L water twice a week, independent of plant size.
