Photography Week 4 of flower.....How much longer!

Honestly i'm pretty geeked...this being my first grow, i had no idea it would go so well...i just followed what i read online, the only problem i had was not getting a lot of help on other forums cuz of the hate on autos(have no fuckin clue why)

I would be happy with her mate, that is a very nice first grow. :thumbs:

Got sick of the trash talk, misinformation and general lack of good info on just about every forum.

At least here, we have a chance to help people make the best of their autos. I know I get a better stone from properly grown buds. So maybe we'll sway some one who wouldn't have been other wise.
Plus those photo guys don't need to know how close we are to world wide auto domination.. lmao

How much longer!?

Dont chop before they stop producing new white hairs imo, approx 3-4 more weeks if you are in week 4 of flowering. Switching to 12/12 at this point will help reach maturity faster. I dont think ive seen a plant reach full maturity in less then 7 weeks when given good growth condition and plenty of nutes.

So when i see a guy with really nice plants asking when to chop in week 4, i feel obligated to warn you from shooting yourself in the leg. My experience is that much of the actual bud weight and THC develops in the last 2 weeks of flowering... not to mention the flavor, ripe buds just tastes and smokes much much better.

Yeah, i got impatient and quick dryed some popcorn buds with a cfl and the shit is potent now but i have a feeling you're right on the flavor. When i bought the seeds the website said its supposed to have a spicy aroma and i got a little taste of it, but i can imagine if i give it another couple of weeks its only gonna get better. The only problem i have is with the lights now on 12/12, the BCN nonfuckin auto is gonna stretch some more and i have officially ran out of space. I could bend the fucker but i dont have room with the LR2 in the way.

So do i pull the LR2 a week early and focus on the photoperiod? Or let the true auto ripen and tie down the BCN little by little. Mind that the BCN is already 30" tall and a foot and a quarter away from the hps.
