hi all. im on week 8 now on my 2 cheeses's , and as a new grower, im coming under pressure a little now trying to work out when to chop them.??.
ive read on here about trimming the big fan leaves off,to help fatten buds and have decided against it. what I want to know is , is there like a certain amount of time not to go over before cropping an auto? or do I still wait for the trichs to go milky/browny before I cut?
any help would be great please.
many thanks:tiphat:

Depends on what you want from them bro. I wouldn't chop until fan leaves had yellowed and dying off, plus checking your trich's to see what kind of medication you need. Pictures would be helpful bro, and if you havent' already, say a little hello in the new growers forum and let us know what you have going down there.

Dazed..

Trimming the Fan Leaves and Plucking are a very specific set of rule you have to follow as well as specific selection of what to cut,why and where and how much within specific strains. So its always best to avoid it until you have a solid knowledge of Autos and photos alike.

The more milky ya are the more heady and uppy it tends to lend itself too.The more of em that turn darker amber the deeper and more relaxed body stone yer gonna have as a loose rule.Thats all strain specific in many cases.but.."AFN smoke out"

thanks dazed. im still getting to grips with AF site. lots to take in and work from! the growing side seems fairly straight forward. iv been using biobizz nutes and they seem ok, but as my 1st grow, im not sure how different they would be without them or with different brands to be honest. thanks for your help. I will try and do some pics.

eyes on fire. I didn't like the sound of trimming them when I heard it but if it was to produce magical results then it would have been done. for my personal preference im going to go for the more heady upper feel definitely!! or maybe one of each! thank you. I will be keeping a CLOSE eye on them!
do they go much longer thn 8-9weeks?

thats strain specific at its core to answer that really.but as a good rule to run around with is 60-90 days if its good genetics.

Magical naah lol to do it well imo, sure ya could get lucky sure but to do very selective trimmin and stuff of the plant is a very mild and mellow slow thing to do to any plants.its not about just throwin off leaves n stuff.its a very slow dance with the plant..literally.:Sharing One:
