Well. Things are going downhill fast

2 are like day 26 and one is still in week 2, they are in a mix of fox farm ocean forest / happy frog / perlite 1:1:1 ratio watered with distilled water, they got calmag about 4 maybe 5 days ago... on the same day that I added 2 more cobs to the 1 existing.. so 1 cob per plant about 22 inches away at the time. After both of those changes they started to show yellow tips and some chlorosis on upper leaves starting from the middle but not quite all the way to the tips. Lots of small slow growth and twisty ness going on.. I thought maybe the ph might be high, my ph pen finally decided to show up and I (think) I watered it with a PH of 6 but this pen is a bit dodgy so who really knows... the runoff from the watering came out in the 6.1-6.2 range (if I’m trusting this pen) so I thought it would be ok but clearly it’s not.. because they looked visibly worse within a few hours and today they look pretty sad. I usually don’t overwater but They were pretty dry when I watered them.. I’ve worked like 10 days in a row and must have missed their time by a little

Anyways they went from bad to way worse and now I think they’re going to die. I haven’t grown anything in years and I used to use OF & perlite without issue never worrying much about ph so I’m just scratching my head here wondering what on earth to do or if it’s too late. I moved the lights up to about 28 inches since they look so pissed

This is my first attempt with auto flowers, cob LED, and calmag. They haven’t gotten any nuts other than what’s already in the soil and they got 1 tsp/gal of calmag like 5 days ago. I should have megacrop showing up soon I had hoped to use it to feed them before they started getting sick

I forgot to add, they’ve had constant lights the first few weeks, I saw that some people did 24/7 lights on autos and I had really hoped it was that simple. Now I’m wondering what did I do wrong to these poor plants. The bigger 2 are fastbuds gsc and the little crinkly one that’s younger is blue amnesia. Temps stay 70-80f & humidity is never lower than 40 or higher than 55%. I do let them dry out completely between watering, I wait until the dirt pulls away from the sides of the container. They’re all in 3g fabric pots. I didn’t have enough dirt to fill them All the way , so they’re in about 2 to 2.25 gallons of dirt I’m guessing

Well they look fine.You should feed cal/mag every feed and let the pots get dry/light so the roots can hunt for water.Keep an eye on your soil Foxfarm is known or bugs. Im switching to sunshine#4 or back to pro mix.I find mixing all the organic soils together with a bag of worm casting let sit for month or 2 and its GOLDEN.Not sure about the spots .I feed until i get tip burn then i know its FULL so to speak.If you see it starting to yellow then its most likely starting to grow out of what you bin feeding.

Lights should start at 30 to 36 and let plant grow to them. But never closer than 28''
They also look a touch over watered and maybe a shade dark. Need to give it some calmag and ro for a few feedings. But let soil dry good before next watering. They arent going to die just yet. But ph is everything buy a good meter or use ro water and add dolomite lime to mix. I also would use a higher ratio of perlite. In my experience faster the soil dries the faster the growth. You could also try elevating pots on a rack and blow air around pots

Just an update, these girls are still alive. But they’ve been nothing but problems from the beginning. This is my first attempt with autos (2 girlscout cookies fast buds 1 blue amnesia ministry of canabis). I’m a bit hesitant to grow these over photos from what little I’ve seen but I haven’t seen much thus far and I also haven’t grown in nearly 10 years so I did expect some issues. I don’t think the lights I used in the past depletes the plants of nutrients like these cob LEDs... I’m planning to start a Pineapple Express but I’m very hesitant after everything I’ve seen so far.

I did see that OF isn’t quite what it used to be back in the day so sadly this next plant will be started in coco/perlite mix. I’ve never strayed from dirt so once again new territory. Should I start an official grow journal for this or should I resume posting in this thread? I think I definitely should be seeking help because this grow isn’t going quite as awesome as photos and I’m pretty sad that these plants probably won’t yield much but hopefully I can do better with this Pineapple Express

Forgot to say... The cobs were raised a while ago and that seemed to help. They’re about 30 inches away now and the 3 cobs are further apart from each other than they were in the beginning. In hindsight I think they were getting too much light. I’ve bewn feeding them 4g of megacrop along with a tsp/gal of 1-0-0 calmag

I used fox farms for several years... back a few. Without pics, and reading thru a couple times, the OF tends to run hot for the little ones, autos seem to be a little more sensitive to nutes early on... might be...

You also added lighting. I moved to cobs a year ago, and found placement can be a little deceptive for old HPS growers. Under 20" and not flowering I start to get yellow tips on the new growth, a light, pale, yellowish. Am wondering if that might be what your seeing.

1 gsc was lst in the beginning but it grow so thick and bushy that I gave up. I mean trying to leaf tuck this plant is a nightmare. All three got small haircuts yesterday. Much less than I’d normally do since they’ve never looked 100 percent healthy. The blue amnesia was fimmed and the smaller less bushy gsc was topped to get some more nodes, it seemed to be a different pheno than the mega bushy one. The runoff ph has been coming out at 6.5 so ..... I really don’t know why the new growth is so thin and twisty.. I plan to backoff on the megacrop next feeding, they just got water / fed yesterday. The gsc are about week 5/6 and the blue amnesia is a couple weeks younger.
