Total noob...

I totally get that this is above my pay grade in growing, I have started all (1st grow) in soil but have the funds to mimic the bent coat hangers method so will be doing. It's more about the fact that it looks cleaner to me and genuinely nothing else.
I am open to any suggestions/help as like I have said above this growing is for medication for my brother and not for me.
Then take it simple and try your best to get watering down and get your environment dialed, proper dli and all that. You will be surprised at how 1) its not as easy as it sounds, and 2) you will be rewarded fat for your efforts!

Start with LST/topping for a couple grows. Easier on you and the plants. You'll still get plenty and it's easier to learn. 420 method takes a lot more man hours then just about any other method. 1st grow the goal is really to get some good smoke at the end. You'll learn more then you think each grow. Once you build up a nice head stash, then play around all you want :pass:

I've been reading and learning for past 6 months but only real way to learn is to pop the beans eh. I know enough that it's not as easy as folk around me personally (not yous dudes) think. I'm hoping to get something, I have 10+ photoperiod and 4 autos so far in solo cups. Before any of them need nutes I will have the following...

A box 48 of cultiwool blocks...
4 x 400ltr/hrs pumps...
Reservoirs...
Fittings...
Extra light/tent for such set up...

Long story short EVERYTHING.

Are you planing on running the same nutes as 420 the general hydroponics or something else?

Dont forget things like fans for circulation and extraction, temp/RH meters(multiple for micro environments) good yoyos for your light and i find that i use a shit load of zip ties for all kinds of shit. Also garden stakes are a great tool for learning lst. That and garden training wire( the green shit) i even use pipe cleaners because they are cheap and easy to use on plants. Get good measuring cups and spoons. And maybe a watering can or spray feeder, your preference.
Edit- also 10-60ml syringes, they are cheap when you buy them buy the 20 on amazon

So far...

Hi to everyone on the AFN. I'm a total noob in the growing game but really going to go for it proper.

Anyway first dilemma is I thought that 5 Autoflower beans had been unsuccessful so I popped 10 photos instead. Whilst I was potting them into solo cups I just threw the 5 autos into one cup for fun and yeah 4 have sprouted.

So I have 11 Photoperiod (1 is a twin ) and 4 autos in a 3×3.

Also bloody cheap ass PH pen is not good so I was wondering if Bluelab pens are any decent?
Im just gonna give fair warning, I don't know what you plan on doing with the autos when you switch to flower with the photos, but your autos will suffer greatly from the decreased dli. Ive done this before and my photos turned out great, the auto did ok but it would have been a lot better had I kept the light on at least 18 hours a day.

I have an apera ph60. Its a great pen, replaceable probes are a great feature for when the bulbs life ends. Its reccomend if you use a pen frequently they are replaced once every year. If I were you I'd go for the model that does everything, ph, temp and ec that way you got all your bases covered with one device.
