Grow Mediums west coast og

Are you using a complete nutrient system? By complete I mean all products from the same line and all the components the manufacturer suggests? Are you following a printed feeding schedule?

Just using A and B from the PH perfect line. Using Voodo juice. I started with Tangs schedule and tweaked it from there. I never had a problem with calmag issues until halfway through the grow in my sig.

Just wondering, has the cal mag helped? I Googled what kind of problem your having and I found this, maybe?

rust, how many of you have had this and been beaten by it? lots i bet!!!
first, rust is a fungi. it is opportunist. it preys on unwell plants. if something is a miss, rust is a sign. rust has been identified to have 7,000 species. it attacks crops of every description. but we're only interested in one variety arn't we?
if rust is present early in a grow, you have problems as it's an indicator something in your room is a miss. usually ventilation. go through your system and double check things are in place and working properly.
rust is an air borne fungi. if given the opportunity, it WILL take hold. it usually does during flower as this is when the plants immune system is at its weakest as its energies are concentrating on re-production, not survival.
depending on what part of the grow you get it, you can cure/minimize it with either chemical or natural remedies.
it enters the leaf via the stomata and then it's off and running.
fungacides used are generally copper based and include; thriram, manzecob, maneb or zineb at 10 day intervills.
organic;
baking soda, 1 tea spoon/ quart of water. spray on.
copper sulphate, read lables.
fungacidal soap sprays;
garlic sprays, 1/2 cup minced garlic, 1 quart of water. let sit 24hrs, strain, spray.
sulphur, one of the best natural sprays. it is low in toxicity.
micro kill, a citric based killer. i use this with great success.

I don't think it's a cal mag issue. Something is missing.

Cal mag has not helped. I ran the buckets phed at 5.8 with pure rodi water and 15ml of calmag in 3 gallons of water. Did not even slow the progression down. Something is missing or something has changed and I cant think of what it is. It is not Phylium. I am well versed in that. I have sufficient air bubbles as well. I looked at all the stoma under a 200x and they are opening and closing and transpiring so that is not the issue either.

The only thing that has changed has been the location of the grow. I changed rooms. However the last plant that WAS A MONSTER was also grown in the same room. It was PERFECT all through VEG and then BAM mid flower same thing. But the room is sterile as can be expected. Maybe not enough fresh o2? but that would not explain the plant in my sig. Check that one out too.

After reading through your whole thread...we have the exact same problem.

Same set up, same feeding schedule, same genetics (different strain), everything....if you want to see the future of your plant....click the link in my signature.

I at first thought it was a root problem....turned out its just staining from the nutes. The latest theory is that it is cal mag toxicity. I was adding cal mag+ at 4ml at first (per rez) and never went above 8ml. If you don't mind I'm going to link a few people to this so they can take a look. @Rebel @derek420colorado

Er I Can assure you that is not the future of my plant. My plant is 3x the size of your and only 20 days old. Its not the same symptoms. My leaves have never looked anything like that. In fact the plant has show and grown to normal milestones. Never slowed stunted or did anything fucked up other than the spots.

Thanks for stopping by and offering thoughts though. I wish you all the best. There is something else at play here. I am wondering if I have a zinc or manganese issue. I can dose both elements seperatly and test for them with the stuff I have here for my reef tank.

I am going to test calcium levels in the advanced nutes after its been mixed per 1 litre instructions. I am guessing its going to be under 50ppm
