Harvest & Curing Wet trim vs dry trim

I've always trimmed wet and left the buds on their branch to dry.
Reading an article in GrowMag they recommend removing big leaves, dying, and then trimming over a screened tray.

I'm considering this.
Pros and cons?

I used to do it the way you said and then I started doing it the way you read, send to be faster and easier, I Audi went from brown bag dry to hang dry the same time.... All around better results, easier to time trimming, not so overwhelmed with getting it all done at once you know. Plus it's easy to keep the bud symmetry this way and not lose extra weight. Bag appeal might be slightly better with the wet trim but that's the only pro I found in my garden really. I only hang dry and trim sugars after its been Jarred for a minute honestly. Works great and I'd never go back to wet unless it was personal lol

I take off all the big fans, then hang the plant. I don't trim sugar leaves. I don't give a shit about bag appeal, and those sugar leaves are covered with trichs.

That's the thing. My sugar leaves are getting mass trichs on them.
And especially since I mainly infuse coconut oil also. I'm leaning on keeping them attached.

I save up all my trim and do 40-50g BHO runs so it doesnt go to waste. And that way I get good bag appeal and no most product

I cut off fan leaves and bigger sugar leaves when wet but don't actually trim until dry. I think it makes it easier and usually saves me an hour or two

I think you can get a far better manipulation of the flower to access the underside umbrella leaf bottoms and form the base of the internodal spaces that bunch tight and get that PERFECT crack dried bud look with almost zero leaf in between. I love wet trimming personally and hand manicured buds.they dry smaller if trimmed well and then youll almost never see a wee leaf

I think it is easier to trim wet. I used to trim wet until my local hydro guy explained something. He said, When the plant dries the sugar leaves with wilt and recede into the bud which gives you me weight. Also I have noticed that the smell is way stronger after a dry trim.

Wet. I give em a haircut done..lol! All that trim from the buds makes a large part of the coconut oil I make for capsules and lotion, and cooking! They make no diference to me in a vaporizer either, I've vaped them, you can't tell it from bud in a vape!

Is there any links to the capsule like a how to ? Sounds like a great way to make use of every part of this amazing plant. I seen a video last week where dude made a hat rack out of a big outdoor stem think he sanded it or stained it and has it in his house full of hats lol... I thought that was pretty cool
