Hey folks, need some advice. What did I do to my plant. this started monday mourning. I let it go an extra day without watering ( i normally have been watering every 2 days ). the last watering I did was with nutes. I have since flushed it

Ok first off hello, second hows your ph

Rough Calculation Guide:

Here's some good info on ph.....
If your runoff pH is higher than your starting pH, use this equation to determine your soil pH:*
Soil pH = Runoff pH + Difference

If your runoff pH is lower than your starting pH, us this equation:
Soil pH = Runoff pH - Difference.

For example, say your the starting pH of your solution before it goes in is 6.5 and the pH of your runoff is 7.0. The difference is +0.5, so using the above equation:
Soil pH = 7.0 + 0.5*
Soil pH = 7.5

If your starting pH is 6.5 and your runoff is 6.0, your difference is -0.5 and using the above equation:
Soil pH = 6.0 - 0.5
Soil pH = 5.5

#3-What soil are you using?

#4-what water?

#5-what nutrients?

PH is usually a good place to start.

I think maybe just back up from the light a little and be really careful not to splash your mix on 'em when you feed them. Try that first before any more drastic measures. It may be that simple. Don't panic...it's organic!! Puff, puff, pass

Wellllllllll, I havent checked it. I started in sunshine mix and was using 1/4 to 1/2 strength ff trio. I know my water is is anywhere from 7.7 to 8. From what I read ff drops ph a point and a half or so, I just figured I was good. I did my last grow the same way and thinks worked well so I figured I could just repeat. When i did give just plain water I did use ph down to get it to 6.6 ( if my ph kit was right )

And, I m using cfls and they werent that close to the light, probably about 2 inches away.

First off, how old are they? Fox Farm will drop your water much further down that 1.1 points of ph, when I would mix up my the ph was around 4.6 before adding ph up, def check your run off, or forgot ph troubles and use AN PH perfect nutes. Haven't used my PH pen in months other than to check my urine 2-4 days a week.

what size cfl's actual wattage.... and a ph meter is a necessity...somthing like this is ok

between 6.4 and 6.6 locks out 3 things either way....looks like a def. due to lock out.

the plant is approx 6 weeks old, I.m using 3 35 watt cfl in a grow box with mylar coating. From the research I did it appeared that I would have to drop about 200 bucks on a ph meter that would work consistantly ( wich I dont have at the moment ) I just came across those AN ph perfect nutes and am very interested.
