Hi AFN!

I'm on day 60 of my first grow and am worried about the RH in my tent. The tent is in the garage and the current outdoor humidity is 100%. It's been like this for weeks and yep, more rain is coming.

My space is an Apollo 48"X24"X60". I am running a Mars-Hydro 300w and supplemental CFL's. VenTech extraction fan, small oscillating fan, small (PC) intake fan. Soil.

The RH in the tent has been 70-80% for the past week or so. The girls are putting on weight and I am afraid of bud rot. I cranked up the VenTech fan to high and after an hour, the RH lowered from 70 to 60. Should I be worried? Should I invest in a small dehumidifier? Any advice is much appreciated!

Peace,

Jane

Hi Jane, nice looking plant. The air movement will help but you need to get the RH down. I would definitely add a dehumidifier. If you can get it down to something like 30 - 35% it would be great

Oldster,

Thanks for your input! I haven't been able to get the humidity below 60% so I just ordered a dehumidifier. I'm reading up on how low to get the RH during the finish....Getting exciting!

Peace,

Jane
