Hey again!
Tried to search for this over the forums but without results!
So heres what im wondering!

My DieselRyders are now a lil over 9 weeks so im 2 days into my 14day flush and checked the thricomes today and what i got is

about 75% Cloudy / 25% clear and a few with almost black dots inside thricomes, that i dont know what are.
Cant take a photo so i made a picture with paint to show you what i got

Weirdo.jpg

As you can see in my picture 2 cloudy, 1 clear and 1 with a little black thing inside of the thricome! It doesnt look any ember iver ever seen, (my 1st grow)
Oh and i havent seen any embers yet in my plants, going for a head high not couchlock! thats why im alredy flushing!

Also wondering if DieselRyder usually show ember thricomes or not!

But back to the question, What are those black spotted thricomes!?

EDIT: Also the hair on the top half of the plant are all brown, no new white hairs popping up! only lower smaller flowers on the bottom half of the plant are still white

short of seeing a macro shot I cant tell ya for sure but what the black is ,is your trics maturing into milky and scattered amber.ive seen that several times.its possible it could be a wierdo, but without a dent pic its hard to say.hope that helps.

^ say what !? x)

Dont have a camera, but it looks exactly like in my pic, down in the head of the thric theres a black spot got like 5% of them, very confused..

They look like that! ( Found a picture on the net, not of a cannabis plant)
Couldnt find any info on them tho :/

^yes, but addition to that theres around 5% of the black headed thricomes!

also i use a 60-100x magnification

Never heard of a black trichome before! Any chance it could be refracting some dark from nearby? I'm no real canna expert at this point, but it would stand to reason, that due to unknown or infinite possibilities, the plant could have secreted a few trichs of metals or toxins (toxins to the plant, unlikely to affect you) as some way to protect itself. Remember the trichs are protection, from being eaten, to uvb/uva(maybe), and other environmentals. So it must have some reason to produce the black trichs. Or its a genetic fluke, or it just accidentally or purposefully secreted some metals or some solids in the resin. Just some thoughts :) don't take my word for it :)

full on black??hmmm.il get back to you on that.I thought it was a small dot inside the clear tric.cuz that is it maturing(again short of seeing a pic) and if your running chems it totally possible what Antro dude is saying.light?ehhh, maybe but more than one or two?nah I doubt it.but toxic makes sense of you fed it heavy or ,well, chems, but if your not organic I cant really help ya cuz that mutants genes.,that simple.sorry man.im out lol good luck:Hookah::peace:

Sorry for typo, Not totally black heads just a drop of black inside thric head, like the paint img i posted! and theres like 5% of them so im not mistaken by any shadow, been viewing em from every angle possible!

Well before i started to flush i had a overdose of nutes! (chem) maybe that could be a reason !?
Just wondering how mature my plant is now ._.

Atm:

Plant 1 = 25% clear / 75% milky
Plant 2 = 20 clear / 75 %milky / 5% clear with a dark spot in them

Let me still add 2 pictures of the plants, probably wont help my question. but a answear would be fun to know but in the end theese will be harvested when flushing is complete!

So smoke on people!
