@912GreenSkell @Waira What are those little balls around my roots? I was about to transplant this White Widow Auto and I noticed these weird while balls mixed in with the roots. I’m not sure what they are and whether to mess with this plant. I do inoculate them with water that I put Wildroot brand mycorrhizae into. It’s supposed to provide both endo and echo myco and I’ve been following the instructions. I’m hoping that this is healthy mycorrhizae and that I’m good to go, but I’m in a holding pattern until I get some positive confirmation from somebody a lot more informed than me!

FWIW- it’s a mixture of FF souls watered with distilled or hard well water pH’d to ~6.5.

Darn it! That’s what I was afraid of. I’ll bet it’s spider eggs. The instatransplant pot system leaves that tiny air gap in places between the outer pot and the modified inner pot. That makes a PERFECT spot for something like a spider to lay her eggs. That’s exactly what they look like, although smaller than I’ve seen before. I’m just going to trim that area with a clean razor blade, put some myco on It and transplant. If there are some I miss, so be it. Once buried they ought to die and they won’t have any way to get out of the dirt even if they do hatch. There’s difinitely lots of daddy long legs around here. Unavoidable in this area. Oh well.

Hey, at least I got to stump one of the experts! Lol! Thanks brother!

We will make sure that @Waira gets in here....he knows tons about bugs. Also, @pop22 might have an idea?

Thanks bud! I’ll hold off on doing anything till tonight to see if I get any answers from them. I checked this mornings and the aliens haven’t hatched yet. Lol

looks fungal/bacterial to me,.. roots don't seem bothered by it, so let it be,.. I'm not that expert in this, but I do know several microbes can form up like this,.. balls are likely reproductive structures surrounded by the mycelium,...
