Hi Tetra-- No worries, the water pH swing isn't behind that damage, that's still in neutral range,... pH lockout on Ca isn't anywhere near this.... I think it's the MG soil, and/or a soil pH thing, which we've seen before with their soils,... even though it's labeled NPK is mild, the autos seem to dislike it!...It'd be very unusual for such young plants to have a (lack of) defc., but a pH lockout could cause them... We need a soil pH reading, mate! ...edges, tips go yellow to brown fast, then dry up, right? (Wish you didn't cut away the dead stuff-- it can help with diagnostics) .... overwatering doesn't cause this type of tissue damage, and the leaves would be drooping if it's waterlogged in there (lack of good gas exchange).... has there been any big wet-to-dry cycling? ...symptoms look partly like nute burn, but the interveinal discoloring snacks of possible Mg defc.,.. also, they look heat/RH stressed... is it hot and low RH in there? Under that stress, the stomata close up, to save water... this really slows down the nutrient transport highway, which also could be causing a defc. because of this,... need some data that matta' tetra, share with us what you can...
