What is wrong with this seedling and is it worth growing?

... your seeds, your gamble, mate,... my point is, until you have some idea what's in the soil as far as nutrient sources, it will be guesswork as to when and how much nutrients to start out using,...fortunately, Biobizz is mild stuff, and great quality.... your doses were okay, if a bit early at about 1 week (the cotlydons supply much of what's needed initially), but I realize you were looking to see if nute's would help,... however, fertilizers, organic or not, tend to be acidic, and the breakdown of organic nute's also is an acidic process,... EWC teas or inoculants are very helpful in getting your soil microbe population up and running, which is especially critical for organic nute's because most of their initial NPK sources are not in readily absorbed forms,... off pH hinders, even kills the soil herd! As for your water pH, and hardness, knowing what they are is wise, to make sure it's not overly high in ppm's TDS and thus alkaline pH,... longer term consequences of build up will mess with nutrient uptake and root health, along with potential pH issues,.... ***.... don't worry about the minimal root damage from occasional probings, just don't place it in close the the plant itself,...also, some depth will give better representation of what's going on in there,... that unit sounds similar to the Accurate 7 :phsoil:...long probe one is the 8 model...... That seed is all done! What strain/breeder are they? The p-t method is okay, but some brands have significant amounts of chemical residues in them, so best to rinse them out first,... also, your temp's for germing are important; what are you running at?

when i have ph'd my water for past grows it was usually around 7.8 - 8.2 so i added vinegar to lower it to around 6.5 until i was feeding enough nutes it would lower it enough by itself. i don't have anything to test my water ppm and i have never looked into EWC teas so I will see what i can find thanks.

that Accurate 7 probe looks like what I ordered.

i take it you mean the seed is dead. it is auto mazar from dutch passion i ordered 4 different seeds from them one is from the OP 1 is the seed pictured above with another turning out the same which leaves me with just one seed left. safe to say I won't be ordering from them again. before this batch i had no problems germinating seeds with p/t method. i did try germinating one seed with root riot cubes using ronin's method but the seed ended up getting stuck inside it but i might try again in winter time as using wifi router will help with the temperature. i don't know the exact temperature now but it's around 20c so should be fine.
