Lighting what LED to buy???

I havn't seen any LEDS really impress me, i used to run them, Specturm King is the only LED i seen that actually preforms well. A respected grower did a test grow and pulled 1lb from a 450 watt LED (actual power from the wall).

Yes i have, LEDS can grow some amazing bud, but if a light can't / won't hit 1lb per light then its not a good fit for me. I understand most are growing in smaller grows like 4 x 4 and under with a few small plants but none of the LEDS that i seen can hit that 1lb per light marker unless they are pulling more watts then a single 600 watt HPS light. Until recent with the specturm king. Now i havn't personally tested the specturm king so i can't speak on it too much, i just seen another respectable grower hit 1lb on a 450 watt power draw with it. So i was impressed

I just purchased my 400W Mars II from mars-hydro.com

Next time email them when you do your purchase and let them know, your from the forums, and was hoping for a free yoyo hanger. I did that and they sent me 2 hangers with my light I purchase. If not you gotta buy them but there only like $10

What Tang is getting...yes...But I dont see everybody that is using the HS1 getting 2 gpw so it is not all due to the LED from GN...not even close...

Tang is a freak of nature when it comes to growing.

That is correct, but it doesn't change the fact that the light he use is good enough to produce more than 2 gpw.

The spectrum king mentioned in the hands of a respectable grower produced less than half that.......

The fact is that grows under GN HS1 is still better than what the Spectrum King light has produced, including in their own video.

Yes, I watched the company video, no surprises there. Interesting choice of lights being compared. I assume the growing skills deployed for the test was right up there with TaNg, Ganjamoto and others.
