Grow Room What LEDs are you using?

I know we're got a lot of LED users here. I'd be curious to know what everyone is using. If you would be so kind, please list the brand, wattage and purchase price, along with the size of your grow area and a brief opinion of your light.

I'm using a GLH 180, 240 actual watts. I purchased it directly from GrowLEDHydro for $499. I've used it in both a 4' x 4' area and a 2' x 2.5' area and find it performs best in the smaller area. I'm very pleased with the quality of construction and the performance has been excellent. My first grow of Diesel Ryders averaged 42 grams per plant and the second grow, Mi5, averaged 65 grams per plant.

Please start a new threat with your question. I want to keep this thread on topic in the hope that it will serve as a reference for anyone considering the purchase of an LED.

I use four 240 watt BlackStar LED's in my 4x4x6.5 grow tent, it covers the canopy very well. This is my first grow so i don't know what kind of numbers i will be getting. I just started to get everything setup. I am hoping i will have great results with this setup. I had a thought the other day thou, ( don't want to jack your thread Muddy) Has anyone every thought about putting LED Panels on the sides of the plants aswell as on top?

Iv got a 180w blackstar LED,purchased from Gotham hydro,i emailed and got a discount on shipping,it cost me £150 delivered to the UK,that also includes customs charge to.iv got it set up in a secret jardin Dr60 2ftx2ftx5ft. Running a 4" inline 2 speed fan& 4" carbon filter and a clip on 6" fan for circulation.only just got those today and I'll be rigging it up tomorrow.I'm only growing 2 plants at a time and i shall update this post when my grow is underway

I think the 3w chips in the panel are manufactured in china but the panel is built in the USA

Not sure when you bought your blackstar but when I bought mine they openly stated it's only assembled in China and parts are US made. Who knows though.

I'm running a Blackstar 500w in a 4X4 tent. First Red Dwarf harvest was considerably heaver than from other RD grows I've been told about. Harvesting a Syrup and White Dwarf in around 10 days and they look like they will yield well too.

PS... If you call Gotham Hydro before ordering a Blackstar on EBay they will give you a better Price.
