Lighting What size led do I need?

Been currently growing with T5 in a 2X4X5 tent and cfl side lighting. Looking to maybe step it up a notch and invest in a led for flowering my girls out. I currently have a couple red poision just about done stretching. My actrual "growing space" is about 2X2 because by the time I get the side lights in and a couple of circulation fans, the tent is full. I SCROG to try to keep my height down, but growing in 3 gallon pots, I have just about reached my "workable height" a couple of grows with the T5. I want a light that does a top shelf job of flowering within my 2X2 growing space, but don't want the expense and heat of overkill. I am assuming that the larger the wattage of an led, the more heat output?? I want to strike a balance of max lumens for the least watts. Thanks for all input. I am sure I will get some opinions.

Budget will be a big deal but at 2x2 space a solar flare 220w would be nice.... but there proud of them but dont go cheap and buy a chinese model for half price and only get one grow out of it

Sorry for the late reply bro I totaly missed this thread. For a 60x60cm room a HS1 would rock it in flower they perform very well and you will get killer trichome production.

consider apollo 6 from cidly or mars reflector 96 x 3. Both draw about 200 watts and should do well in that area. Also the mars 2 400 would work.

If cost is an issue, I'd go with the Mars II, 400w. It's very affordable, and does very well for the cost

I just built a 2'x2' tent and put a Mars I 300W in it. If I did not have the Mars I already I would have purchased the Mars II 400. I like the 5W diodes. I think the intensity of the 5W diodes keep my plants short.

Don't buy Chinese? I've got 4 Mars Hydro lights. My pair of 300 watt lights have been running flawlessly for a year now, and have a three year warranty. Like anything, you just need to do your homework and find who makes a good product. Solar Flare are nice for sure, price is totally ridiculous!

A 300-400 watt light would work great in that space. I'm running a single 300 watt in a 3'x3'x5' space and it lights it perfectly.

The Mars Hydro 192x3 Reflector model will cover that area, its a big light. I have one covering a 4'x4'x7'4" space and have 7 plants under it right now.
