Not sure sniper. Beauty. Your local state DNR webpage should have a complete species list with pics. Might be worth a look.
 
I'd say red shouldered hawk at first guess but it could be a Cooper's hawk.

thanks buds damn thing scared the crap out of the horse when it flew through the barn it was sitting on that branch watching a squirrel then i blinked and it and the squirrel were gone
