just went to gaze upon my lovely GG, a fair spinster of 120+ days, an auto, and noticed a few of these $&@&&@ things flying around her reservoir. Checked the reservoirs on the other 2 girls and they are there too. Wtf.

Here’s the nitty gritty:

Problem: stuff flying around.
-Medium/grow method: DWC,
-Feed and supplements used: Megacrop hydroguard getting ready to use flawless finish
-Water source: tap 320 ppm
-Strain and age Growers Choice GG4 and Northern Lights, autos. GG4 in front, 123 days old and ready for harvest; 2 NLs in back 93 days.
-Climate: temp 71-74, humidity 40-57
- Light used: COB 18”
-Additional info: varying levels of calmag deficiency, these girls can’t get enough

--Pictures here are probably overkill, please excuse my horrible trichomes pictures, I’d really just like to harvest this girl at this point and my photo skills and equipment are not up to the task.

Sorry for my language bejesus here are the rest of the pics:

The NLs at 93 days, these still need a few more weeks:

Weird, the closest thing I can think for indoor flying pests is whitefly, but its wings at rest are moth like. Can you get a pic of one more in focus? I see you're right about the CalMag, but can you spot any kind of insect damage or eggs?

Padawan named it, it’s a drain fly. I do have a slow drain in that bathroom. They seem to be coming from the netpot itself, I bet they have eggs in there. Oh dear.

I believe you hit the nail on the head Padawan, thank you.

I guess this is a drain fly. I have a slow moving drain on that bathroom, I think they are from there. So I need to fix the drain. I need to put a few bait bowls in the tent and catch some adults. But I think they may have laid eggs in the netpots themselves. Does anyone know of anything I can do to treat the netpots? Apparently they don’t respond to bleach.
