Nutrient burn starts as only the tips of the fan leaves, they burn off, then the leaves curl under and the whole leaf dies. What most people don't realize is a perfectly healthy plant with symptoms starting at the top progressing downwards means you're lacking or locked out an immobile element like iron . Any fade from the bottom up is a mobile element like nitrogen. Mobile elements like nitrogen can be cannabilized by the underfed or locked out plant. Where as elements like mg or iron are cannabilized from the newest growth because they are immobile and the plant can't eat its oldest leaves for anything but mobile elements like NPK
