hey guys when your adding cal-mag to your distilled water to help buffer... do you have to add it before you add all the other nutes or as long as it gets mixed in is it ok? and is the general feeding alright?

also will this kind be fine to use 5 weeks into flower (photoperiods) even though it contains Nitrogen?

thanks homies :Sharing One:

Add it to your base water before adding any nutes. Unless you are dealing with a deficiency, add enough to raise your base PPM to between about 125 - 150, then add your nutrients.

The Botanicare is fine. I think all the cal/mag supplements have small amounts of nitrogen. I believe it helps the plants uptake the calcium.

Hey Fwee, got your PM and then saw this thread. Muddy has you covered.

As for the meter, HM is the brand I use for pH and TDS and I've always been happy with them. Far better than the no-name stuff off eBay in my experience.

Faded 187 After consulting with several of our top growers we found that the info about adding nutes before adding cal/mag that you stated was incorrect therefore your post was deleted.Nothing personal sorry.
