Extraction Where to buy dry ice?

Alright so I'm wanting to use the "dry ice, bubble bag" method of extraction. But I don't know what type of store sells dry ice....? Any ideas or does anyone know of a popular chain store that carries it?

Also, any tips on this method would be great from people that have done this already. It looks pretty basic but maybe there are a couple tricks to the method?

Check all your local beer distributors or if you have a seafood house around you. I found mine at the beer distributor.

Around here most of the supermarkets have dry ice. It's usually in a chest near the regular ice. If not there, try welding supply houses.

Watch the color as your shaking it through the bag. The trics will be a lighter color, more blond. When you see it start to turn green, stop. That means you're getting more vegetable matter going through. The chunks of dry ice shaking around turn the vegetable matter into a fine powder. I just did dry ice recently and shook it too much and degraded the quality of the kief. Next time I'm going on the suggestion of some of the other members and freeze my trim, then shake it through the bag without the dry ice. Should be a lot cleaner that way.

Thanks for the info everyone. I finally found it today at one of the 4 supermarkets in town. Didn't get it, but found where it is. Maybe I will freeze my trim as well and not even use the dry ice. Thanks again guys for the info and help.

That sounds amazing because where i live its not that easy to get dry ice.
