Both nutrient lines will grow excellent crops based on the skill of the grower to use them. That said, it is obvious that the AN line of nutrients includes many more inputs than GH. The secret sauce is in the form of Bio-stimulants and what ever. I believe a skillful grower can add some inexpensive Bio-stimulants to GH and do just as well. Kelp, Humic Acid, B-Vitamins.

No experience with GH but they do cater to RO and municipal water sources. I like the trio combined with their root product.

I really enjoy Botanicare's Pure Blend Pro line in conjunction with their Liquid Karma containing kelp/humic acid. Throw in an innoculant like Recharge and you have most of what you need.

That is what I forgot the Mykos etc....... Microbes but of course and we do not want to forget our little fungus friends either .

I grew with GH for years in hydro. It was fine and did the job. I've used the general organics line in soil it did ok job some were just stinky as hell. I'm now using AN for the first time. It is working well I like the dump and go aspect of it. You don't use PH with it so very easy to use. I plan to grow a couple more times with it for sure.

Fertilizer is a lot like sugar.
All brands are about the same.
I've used GH, CurrentCulture, and Megacrop, but can't tell any difference.
Go with the cheapest, easiest to use.
That might be Greenleaf Megacrop, GH Maxigro/Maxibloom, or JR Peters.

I just posted in another thread that my experience with AN was that it never was the right pH at the 1/4 or 1/2 strength I needed for autos. In order to get the pH where it needed to be for my neutral tap-water, I had to add a full ration of nutes. So my choices were nute-burn, or too-high pH.

I've been using GH Flora Trio with 1gram/gallon epsom salt successfully for the last few grows and really feel no urge to switch.

Seedlings: 1ml - 1ml - 1ml
