I am new to growing. I am looking at the 32x32 tent with 3 autos in 5 gallon buckets to do the dwc on there for it.

Which pump would you recommend to run the three air stones? I want it to be as quiet as possible. I do not mind paying a little more for one that is more quiet. Would you recommend one pump to run all three stones? How many outlets do you recommend or do you recommend using t or y tubing on there for it?

I am also looking for a water transfer pump to replace the water in the dwc bucket. I do not want to have to move the bucket to replace the water on there for it.

3x 5gal DWC in a 32”x32” is going to be a whole lot of plant! Not saying it isn’t possible, but you’re going to have some cramped quarters if they all decide to blow up on you!

Thanks. I am looking at the perpetual harvest with 1 plant first then 4 weeks later put in next plant then 4 weeks later put in next plant to where you could harvest 1 plant every like 4 weeks for it. If you do that only 1 plant would likely be large in the tent at a time on there for it.

As for an air pump that is quiet, I have a couple of aquariums, and a real quiet pump is the Tetra Whisper.

One pump, then just run a manifold off it for multiple lines.

This is one plant in a tent your size with one 5 gal DWC.

As you can see there is no room for another plant even this one was crowded.

As far as pumps go I recommend two pumps with a stone from each pump in each reservoir. That way if you lose a pump you don't lose your plant. I ran one of the pumps on a battery back-up in case of a power failure. I learned to be redundant the hard way!

Thanks. I am now thinking that it may be easier to try coco coir for the first grow then may try dwc in the future if I want to on there for it.

Hi, good luck with your grow. I recently evolved into a coco grower and can highly recommend it. I started using coco in my dwc net pots and was so impressed I phased out the dwc. You get more options in your garden :pass:

Thanks. I keep going back and forth between wanting to try the dwc then wanting to try the coco coir. I think I will try the coco coir for the first grow then may try dwc in the future on there for it. Have you had any pest problems with either? One reason I would lean toward the dwc is I read that it has less risk of pest problems on there for it.
