So I was thinking on getting a vacuum chamber kit but I see theres a few options. What kind of product can I expect with a 3 CFM pump with a 2 quart chamber? Would using a larger chamber and a larger pump just be for bigger yields?

Also whats the difference between single and double staged?

F - all that

A double stage pump will get the vacuum quicker that's all it really means to you.

A larger chamber would fit more product but take a little longer to get the vacuum

A larger pump will get the vacuum quicker

You can use any size pump or vacuum combination but if you can afford it get the biggest two stage pump you can afford and the smallest chamber you think you will ever need would be my suggestion.

Thanks for the info.

So you're saying I could use a 3 gallon chamber with a 3 CFM pump? Do you think using a 3 CFM pump with a 2 qt. would be more ideal for someone who won't be doing a ton of runs?

A 3 CFM pump should be more than enough to draw a vacuum in a 2qt container in way less then a minute I would buy them separately myself as just about anything I find bundled (and I mean ANYTHING) is not as good a deal as if I had done a little research and purchased the items separately

What are your thoughts on a 3 CFM pump with a 3 gallon container?

It shouldn't take more then a few minutes (3 or 4) To pull a vacuum with that combo.
