hey seymour! Glad to see you back in action. That white sirius is looking beautiful cant wait to see her in a few weeks.
ive been doing a bit of DWC myself and am running them on setup very similar to yours a60 lpm pump per 2 buckets same led panels it was funny i was growing in the same setup as you but dirt when i first came across your TD thread and desided to go DWC and havent looked back lol...just finishing up 2 DP auto blueblerry and 2 weeks in to 2 pineapple xpress's
had a question about rooting...havent been able to get my roots to come out till about day 13 and i noticed yours explode out at day 4 ii keep my water levels the same as yours.
How do you get those roots to explode in the res so quickly?
was also wondering how long you were keeping rhizotonic full strenght?

alot depends on where you place the rockwool cube in the net basket that determines how fast the roots appear outside the net pot, if you place the cube a couple of inches above the base of the basket they should be outside and in the res in 3-4days , also the trick with getting roots in the res is to let the cube dry out so having the water level below the rockwool cube is great as this forces the roots to go searching for food , as soon as the 1st tap root hits the source of food this sends a signal back up to the plant telling it the foods down here which then makes the plant start throwing out loads of new root growth
ive actually dropped rhizotonic for this grow and im not using any root stim at all , ive seen no difference in root performance either , i normally run rhizo at full dosage for the 1st week to encourage growth then drop it down to half dosage untill the plants have stopped their pre-flower stretch after this i run rhizo at 1/4 dosage untill flush
keep the ph 5.6-5.7 in veg

we are now into the 3rd week of the grow
the white sirius has had a fresh res change today and ive increased her feed to 1.6 ec and ph 5.7 , she has shown signs of being female and has had an average veg period where she has stayed nice an compact with tight internodes , ive also flipped her light to full power , she is giving off a nice canna aroma but its to early before she releases her womanly wilds for me

Damn bro ....the stump tea I use is a compost tea and based all rizoshperes as well Man...I love it ....make some happy plants that love t feed!!! ...I think I will try DWC SO first gott watch this ...Stump tea By HTg....molasses and kelp as fuel and have u grown coco I seem to like the coco fiber

i run a sterile root zone mate as its how i prefer to run my dwc, i do know you can run beneficial bacterias in your buckets to help maintain a healthy root system but what you see above in the pics is 100% natural without any stims or boosters or bennies, as far as coco goes though i have seen a lot of people getting good results but thats nothing different to what im achieving with dwc so i dont see the need to change my style , if its not broke dont try and fix it
