White spots on my leaves and then necrosis... not bugs! What is it?

Bad case of tripps it looks like to me. You have some type of bug. I would get a bunch of lady bugs.

Sorry just seen you posted "No Bugs". Well if you have Tripps you will not see them with your eyes. Go over them with a loop I bet you find some. Good Luck.

Hi Groff! :stylez rasta smoke: That surface damage is, I'm afraid, classic thrip mauling! ...trouble with those little shits, they are very mobile and fast, often leaving the scene of the crime to go suck juices elsewhere before you know it,... also, they're very small, kinda like this (-), and that dash would be a sizable one! ...worse, they can fly! I'm not sure about the leaves reaction, but maybe it's a shock reflex to sudden heavy infestation of pests, something I see in other plants as well when they get absolutely jumped on by vermin,... I had them working me all summer during my second grow, likely from the damn soil, and I had very good success with a product with Spinosad in it; this is considered 'food safe', organic garden approved, odorless, colorless, and unmerciful! It's a naturally produced neurotoxin made by a bacterium, effective only on certain kinds of bugs.... Captain Jack's Dead Bug, at Home Depot! I would add a water spreader to it as well, it needs it! Thrips were sickened quickly, stopped feeding and moving, and about 24-36 hours later they day-ed!... lots of ways to kill'em, though, neem, azomax,...... hope this helps, mate! :wiz:

Thrips are not microscopic, I can see them just fine with my plain eye. They're slippery little fuckers and like to run away when you're looking for them. Man are they ever great at hide and seek. I flip over a leaf then immediately look at the stem, they try to run down there to hide.

LOL I was testing my skill ..I thought it was bugs too..the CP dead bug is good and i add Skeeter bits to the soil for any bad boys in there . working great! also have some beneficial mites in the soil ! :tiphat:Bugs are not fun..Get on them fast and try to keep them contained to one area .:karma Cloud:

Thanks you my friends! Unfortuntely I can't seem to find Azamax here in Europe, but I'll keep looking. Neem oil I've heard very good things about and can get it easy.

Ah! :Stones slap: Sorry bro',I guess Home depot is out! LOL....likely any garden center will have some product with spinosad in it, or a pyrethrum product as well,... Groff, is the plant in bloom? If so, neem may not be a good choice because it leaves a residue, not something you want on the buds, naturally,... I remember seeing a great article somewhere here by Jm, about neem, both the raw stuff (best) and the purified product most commonly found... maybe PM him and get the link to learn more; I personally stopped using it (for orchids) long ago because I couldn't stand the smell, but it works well; neem works by coating and clogging the bugs breathing pores, suffocating them, and the raw stuff dissolves protective materials on the exoskeleton too, I believe... ***
