Just a quick update before work, checked the SM this morning... Drooping again! Wtf! I didn't water very much last night, I didn't want to over do it. This is comical, how can I be getting this so wrong?! The Widow and Assassin look perfect, it's when my plants get older this happens. Man, I hope it doesn't happen to the other two or I quit haha.

Anyone any ideas? The ph of my water after adding nutes was around 6.6.

Peace.

I read something at the beginning about you having 6 litre pots and 2 litre pots. Generally when I was growing seedlings, I'd start them off in 1.5 litre square pots packed together tightly under some CFLS. Then when they grew to about 6-8 inches I'd look at transplanting them into 6 Litre pots where I'd veg them for another 3 weeks, before transplanting them into 15 Litre pots and flip them to 12/12 for 9 - 10 weeks.

I'm not sure exactly why your dropping is happening but your pot size is ringing alarm bells in my ears.

Also dude if you're going to be growing soil I'd highly recommend the Air Pots and also adding a bit extra perlite to the soil mixture. I realise it has perlite in it already but I like to up my perlite to at least 30%. It means more frequent waterings but much more air to the roots, coupled with the Air Pots is a very good thing.

Lastly can you give us a read on your cabinet temperatures and humidity. Plus let us know the pot sizes of the plants worst effected.

Thanks

This is frustrating! Maybe it's my cab or something. PH seems right, temps are right, humidity is around 25-30. I don't get it. The assassin looks awesome so I can't imagine it's the environment in there. Maybe flushing with the rain water has screwed it up beyond repair. I don't know!

I'll ask again so, what are the sizes of the buckets for the one that's droopy and the one that's not droopy?

So the plant that's droopy is the plant that you flushed right. The other plant that's not droopy you didn't flush? Could it be maybe it's flushed and it's still a bit water logged from the flushing and you watered it again without letting it dry out properly?

Just relax, answer all the questions that we'll give you and we'll get the bottom of this okay. Growing pot is all a big learning experience. Take it like that and it won't be frustrating because you know that ALL of us learn't the hard way, just like you're doing now, and all the experts perceived, learn't from what goes wrong, and make sure to make it right next time. So look at it this way, you're on the path to being an expert, so be excited ;) Not frustrated ;) Chill and help us help you.

Also have you any comment on my recommendations in my last message regarding the Airpots and perlite idea for your next grow. I would grow in a 10 litre Airpot minimum with 30% perlite minimum. I've been growing with them for a year and I See teh difference compared to normal pots. Plus since I've been on here I see that most of the biggest best soil growers on this AFN site are using them. Let me know your thoughts on this and everything else I've said.

Hi Happy Horticulturist. Thank you for trying to help me with this!!

So all 4 of my previous efforts have been in 6 litre pots. That is the maximum pot size I can use in my cab. All previous efforts have ALL gone the same way.

Yes the plant that is drooping is in the 6 litre pot. I have the Auto Assassin in a 4 litre pot, transplanted from 2 liter, and the White Widow is still in a 2 litre.

Yes the Sugar Mango is in the 6 litre pot, and yes I flushed 9 days ago with rain water, which I subsequently found out the PH was way too low (under 6.0). I left her alone to dry for a week. The pot was super super light last night, she was drooping from the bottom and looked to me like showing signs of under watering!? I checked as far down as I could and it was bone dry so I fed her 1 litre of tap water with 1 ml bio grow and 3 ml bio bloom. Then this morning, back to whole plant drooping again. I tested PH of water after adding nutes and it seemed fine- around 6.4-6.6.

I thought all that was the right thing to do?

I am down to try out anything to improve my chances of getting a harvest lol. I will invest in a few air pots and some perlite to mix in with my All-mix. I'm not germing anything else now though until I see how the assassin and widow progress. This has been going on since November and I'm using electric etc for what seems to be like nothing. This is getting an expensive bunch of failures!Thing is, a friend of mine is using the same set up, apart from he has a tent and is not using bio bloom/grow but he is having great results!?

Oh yes sorry my temps go from 65-68 at night to around 78-82 in the day. The humidity is low, just under 30%.

Maybe the ph of the rainwater being so low has messed with the ph of the soil? Should I just cut my losses and cut her down?
